(p. 234) kaḍa kaḍa. [Tel.] n. A place, quarter, or direction. దిక్కు, పార్శ్వము. The end, extremity అంతము. Distance దూరము. Proximity, సమీపము. ఇరుగడ on both sides. కట్టకడ at the very end. కడకు at last చివరకు. వెలిగడ dry ground. పరగడ a neighbouring field. తలగడ a pillow, being the place of head. చెట్టుకడ at the tree. అతని కడకు వచ్చిరి they came to him. కడ adj. Last. అంత్యము కడసారి the last time. కడ (affix) By, near, at. The last male child కనిష్ఠుడు. కడసారి kada-sāri. adj & adv. Last, the last time.

(p. 266) kāka kāka. [Tel. imperative of అగు.] v. n. (So) be it. అనుటయునట్లు కాకయనె on his saying so, so be it, said he. కాకయేమి why not? నీవు సుఖముగా నుందువుగాక mayest thou be happy. పోసిరోకాక probably they poured; they may have poured. కాక (negative imperfect participle of అగు.) Not being so, disliking. గిట్టక, సరిపడక. adv. Spitefully, through enmity. నామీదకాక యిది చేసినాడు he did this through ill will to me. కాక. (affix.) Except, besides, unless, but: ఇదికాక and besides this, further.

(p. 712) paragaḍa or పరగడము paragaḍa. [Tel.] n. Another place, ఇతరస్థలము. A side, పార్శ్వము. A field outside of a village. ఊరిబైటిపొలము, బీడు, నెత్తము. పరగడ paragaḍa. adv. (affix.) Off, from, aside. బహిరర్థము, అవతల. ఊరిపరగడ outside the village. పరగడబెట్టి. అనగా బైటపెట్టి 'వెరవకుమంచుదేర్చి యదువీరుడునల్గడ జూడ గట్టుదా, పరగడనిల్చి.' N. ix. 138. టీ కొంచెము అవతలగానిలిచి. plu. పరగళ్లు. A. iv. 54. పరగడగా paragaḍa-gā. adv. Indirectly, apart మేము పరగడగా విన్న సమాచారము the news we received indirectly. వారు పరగడగా నిలిచిరి they stood apart.

(p. 920) bhāti bhāti. [Skt.] n. Light, brilliance, కాంతి. Way, manner, విధము. (affix) Like, like to. వలె, వలెను. 'సాక్షాత్కరించిన కోపంబుభాతి.' Ila. iii. 14. 'శాంతమానసమున జల్లనై శీతల భాతినున్నవాడు పరమయోగి.' Vēmana. 908.

(p. 1089) rō rō. (affix) A vocative particle, as అక్కరో O sister. అన్నరో Oh brother. This is for the vocative sign ఓ with R inserted to save elision. See రొ.

(p. 1114) lōpala lōpala. [Tel.] n. The inside. లోను, అంతరము. (affix) Among, in, within. మాయింటిలోపల ఉన్నాడు he is now in my house. నన్ను పదిలోపల పదకొండుగా చూచినారు they looked upon me as one of the mob. 'తన శిష్యులలోపల నిన్ను దుర్వారపరాక్రమాఢ్యుడని.' M. X. i. 231. 'ఏటిలోపల తీర్థంబులెల్లదిరిగి.' N. vi. 162. ఏటిలోపల within one year. లోపలి lopali. adj. Inner, interior. లోని. లోపలిసౌధము the inner chamber. 'లోపలిసౌధంబులోన వర్తింపంగ.' Bhāg.
