(p. 53) anu anu. [Tel.] v. n. To say, to think, to suppose. చెప్పు, తలచు, ఎంచు. (Past p.|| అని. Relative p.|| అనిన or అన్న, Aor. p.|| అనే, అనెడి, అనెడు, అనేటి. Neg. p.|| అనని.) అట్లా అంటాడు so he says. కావలెననే మనసు a desire to have it. తళుక్కుమను to shine or glitter. చేతితో ఇట్లా అన్నాడు he did so with his hand. అనుటయు on his saying so. అనగా may be translated 'or;' thus అచలముగా కొండ Achalam or hill; Achalam which means a hill. అనుడు adv. On (his) saying this. అనగా, అనేటప్పటికి, అనవుడు. అనుకొను anu-konu. [Tel.] v. n. To say, suppose, think, (middle voice of అను to say or think.) నేను ఇది యిస్తాననుకొన్నాడు he thought that I would give him this.

(p. 136) idi idi. [Tel.] pron. She, it, this. The 6th case is దీని and the acc. దీనిని as దీని నెరిగింపు declare this. The abl. is దీన or దీనిచేత 'hereby.' plu. ఇవి నాకు చాలా ఇదిగానున్నది I am very much out of sorts. ఆ నడత బహు యిదిగా నున్నది that conduct is not the thing, is so and so. ఇదిగో, or ఇదుగో idigō [ఇది+కొమ్ము lit take this] interj. Look! do you see! behold! here it is! ఇదుగో యిస్తాను అదుగో యిస్తున్నానని అంటాడు he puts me off with empty promises Lit. Here I will give it, there I will give it, says he. ఇదుగో వస్తానని చెప్పెను or ఇదుగో వచ్చెదననెను he promised to return presently. ఇదె Same as ఇదిగో.
