(p. 14) andu andu. (a defective pronoun.) There, in that place. అక్కడ. అందుకు or అందులక thereof, thereto, for that. అందులో therein. అందున or అందుచేత thereby, by that. అందునిమిత్తము therefore. అందుమీదట adj. thereafter. అటుతర్వాత, వాడు వచ్చి చేరినందుమీదట. after his arrival. అందులకు (an affix) thereto, for that. వ్రాయగలందులకు ad scribendum, to write. అందువల్ల (an affix) thereby. పోయినందువల్ల యేమి ప్రయోజనము what is the use of going? ఆయన రాగలందులకు for his coming. నేను వచ్చేటందుకు అయిదు దినములు పట్టును it will take five days for me to come. అట్లా ఉన్నందుకు for its being so. వాడు అట్లా చేసినందుచేత as he has done so. వాడు అట్లా చేసేటందుచేత by his doing so. అందులకు ఒక ప్రతి వ్రాసినాడు he wrote a copy of it. 'ఇందుగలడందు లేడని సందేహమువలదు' there is no doubt he is every where. ఇందు అందు both here and there; here and hereafter: in this life and the next. అంద in the same place దానియందే; అందలి = అక్కడ ఉండే.

(p. 37) aḍucu aḍuṭsu. [Tel.] v. n. To close, to shut. మూసివేయు. అందులో నాలుగు వాకిళ్లు అడిచియున్నవి four of the gates are closed, ఆ గుడ్లను ఈ పెట్టెలో అడుచు (here అడుచు is for అణచు) cram the clothes into the box. Also, v. a. To beat, strike, thrash. To destroy కొట్టు, వళింపచేయు. 'ఎమ్ములిరియుగ శిలతో నడిచిన.' P. i. 729. అడుచుకొను aḍuṭsukonu. v. To contract, choke, be stopped. ఆ కాలవలో ఇసుక అడుచుకొన్నది the channel is choked with sand. వాని రొమ్మడుచుకొన్నది he has a contraction of the chest. గొంతు అడుచుకొన్నది, మాట్లాడకూడలేదు his throat is hoarse, he cannot speak.

(p. 662) nivītamu nivītamu. [Skt.] n. A veil, a mantle, a wrapper. కప్పుకొనబడినది, కప్పుకొనేబట్ట. The Brahminical thread, so called when worn round the neck as a necklace, at certain religious rites. పేరు వలె వేసుకొన్న ౛ందెము. రుమాలుగుడ్డను మెడను నివీతముగా వేలాడగట్టి అందులో నొప్పిగానుండే చేతిని ఉంచుకొన్నాడు he has slung his arm in a handkerchief.

(p. 752) pikku pikku. [Tel.] n. A trick, artifice, a secret. వంచన, మర్మము. అందులోనుండే పిక్కు వానికి తెలియలేదు he did not find out the trick of it. v. n. To withdraw. వెనుదీయు. v. a. To cheat, to deceive. దగాచేయు, వంచించు.

(p. 858) baṇḍāramu or బండారు bandāramu. [from Skt. భండారము.] n. A treasury, ఖజానా, ధనగృహము, సంచికట్టు, బొక్కసము. 'తక్కినబండారులెక్కలు చూడు.' BD. v. 800. See also ఆముక్త. iv. బండరు, బండరుడు or బండారి banḍaru. n. A treasurer, కోసగృహాధ్యక్షుడు, బొక్కసమున కధికారి. 'హితులుభృత్యులు బురోహితులును రాజసుతులు, బండరులురాహుతులులెంకలును.' Charitr. iii. 108. బండరువు banḍaruvu. n. A treasury. ఖజానా, సంచికట్టు, బండారము, బండవలము or బండాలము banḍavalamu. n. Stock, capital, funds, treasure. సంచిమొదలు. Means, capacity, strength, సామర్థ్యము. దాని బండవలము బైటపడినది the secret came to light. అందులో బండాలము ఏమిన్ని లేదు there is nothing in that.

(p. 1050) mrāgu mrāgu. [Tel.] v. n. To be tired or fatigued. సోలు. మ్రాగన్ను mrā-gannu. (మ్రాగు + కన్ను.) n. A dejected eye, a downcast look. మ్రాగన్నిడు, మ్రాగన్నువేయు, మ్రాగన్నగు or మ్రగన్నపడు mrā-gann-iḍu. v. n. To look dejected. To blink or to have the eyes half closed. అర్ధనిమాలితేక్షణమగు. 'అందులఫనికులముపనవ. చందనసందష్టనిజభుజంగీవదనానందానందతరమగు మందానిలమానుచుండు మ్రాగన్నిడుచున్.' G. viii. 50.

(p. 1113) lōnu lōnu. [Tel.] n. The Inside. లోపల. The heart or mind. మనస్సు. 'లోనుబదిలపరచి లోనివికారముల్ తలచిమెట్టువారు తెలియనివారు.' Vēma. 1836. The beginning, మొదలు. adj. Subject to, లోకువైన. లోన lōna. Inside. adv. Within, inwardly, internally. 'లోనదృఢంబులేని పెనులోభిని నమ్మి.' (Bhāsk. §. 71.) లోనదృఢంబులేని internally weak. 'అబ్రహ్మణ్యములోనవైచుకొని.' A. vi. 158. ఈలోన in the meantime. లోని lōni. adj. Inner, inside, internal. లోపలి. అందులోని which is therein. లోనిసముద్రము far out at sea. లోనియిల్లు the inner room. లోనగు lōn-agu. v. n. To be gained, seduced, brought over. లోబడు. వారిమోసములకు లోనైనాడు he was snared by their guile. అన్యాయమునకు లోనైనాడు he acted unjustly.
