A part or division. చర్మము, మొండెము, భాగము. ఒంటట్ట చెప్పులు shoes with a single leather for a sole. చెమటట్ట a piece of leather put inside a shoe. అట్టపొట్టగా నుండేవాడు a stout pot-bellied man. అట్టలెత్తిన పాత్రమెట్టులు. (p. 41) attamillu attamillu. [Skt. from అస్తమించు.] v. n. To sit down, lie down; to lean against. ఒరుడు, కూర్చుండు, పరుండు. 'పసుపు టాకుల గుత్తుల సత్తమిల్లు సెత్తావుల మొత్తంబులు తాలవృంతంబులై.' S. iii. 436. 'విదురుండు మణిపీఠంబునం గృష్ణుని వెన్ను దెసతీదీయోన్న తపీఠంబున నత్తమిల్లియుండె.' M. V. iii. 253.

(p. 42) attalamu or అత్తళము attalamu. [Tel.] n. A short spear, a lance with a three sided point. ఈటె, సేజా. 'తేజికాశ్వంబు మెలంపుచునింటును, పంట్రకోలల నడిదంబున నత్తలంబున నేనియు వ్రేసియునడిచియుం బొడిచియు.' Swa. iv. 167.

(p. 42) atti atti. [Tel.] The glomerous fig tree, ficus glomerata or country figtree, ficus racemosa. మేడిచెట్టు. అత్తికాయ. its fruit. అత్తికల్లు the juice that flows from its root: This tree has no apparent blossoms; hence అత్తిమానుపూచినట్టు denotes 'about as likely as milk from a stone.'

(p. 42) attesaru attesaru. [Tel. అత్తు+ఎసరు] n. Rice which has been boiled without having the water poured off.

(p. 133) igirika igirika. [Tel. from ఇగురు] n. Boiled rice from which the water is not drawn off but evaporated so that no gruel is formed. అత్తెసరన్నము, అత్తెసరు.

(p. 378) gumaguma or ఘుమఘుమ guma-guma. [Tel.] (Anuk.) adv. Sweetly, fragrantly, melodiously, strong (as scent.) గుమాయించు gumā-yinṭsu. v. a. and n. To spread as a perfume, to pervade. To be close or sultry. ఆ అత్తరు ఇల్లంతా గుమాయించుచున్నది the scent of the attar pervades the whole house.
