(p. 1198) vihitamu vi-hitamu. [Skt.] adj. Ordered, prescribed, ordained, విధింపబడిన. Fit, proper, right, orderly, necessary. Friendly, intimate. Placed, deposited. Done, made. యుక్తమైన, అనుకూలమైన, ఉంచబడ్డ, చేయబడ్డ. వారిగ్రామములు దోచుట విహితముకాదని considering that it is not proper for use to plunder their villages. 'ఇమ్మహాభారతంబిమ్ముల బాయకవిహితావధానులైవినుచునుండువారికి.' M. I. i. 114. విహితము vi-hitamu. n. Friendship, intimacy. Propriety, fitness, justice. స్నేహము, యుక్తము, న్యాయము. అది విహితమే that is proper. అది విహితము కాదు that is not proper. విహితముగా vi-hitamu-gā. adv. In a friendly manner, on good terms, స్నేహముగా, అనుకూలముగా. విహితుడు vi-hituḍu. n. A friend, companion, ally. స్నేహితుడు, అనుకూలుడు. తమకు విహితులైనవారు those who are your friends.

(p. 1202) vīlu vīlu. [Tel.] v. n. To be of use, ఉపయోగించు. adj. Convenient, practicable, అనుకూలము. n. An expedient, conveneince; success, facility, practicability, possibility, వాటము, పొసగుపాటు, అనుకూలము. వీలుచేయు vīlu-chēyu. v. a. To make convenient. To raise money from ryots in proportion to their kists. వీలుగా vīlu-gā. adv. Expediently, conveniently, అనుకూలముగా, ఉసులుగా, వాటముగా. 'వీలుగాసిగవేసిపూలదండలు చుట్టి.' Jagannadha. ii. 21. వీలుపడు or వీల్పడు vīlu-paḍu. v. n. To be convenient, to be practicable, అనుకూలపడు, సరిపడు. వీలుపరచు or విల్పరచు vīlu-paraṭsu. v. a. To bring about, manage. అనుకూలపరచు. వీలు౛ాబితా vīlu-dzābitā. [H.] n. An account according to the estimate.

(p. 1275) santana santana. [from Skt. సంధానమ్.] n. Joining, junction, union. Agreement, concord, suitability, అనుకూలముగా కుదరడము కూర్పు, ఇమిడిక, పొందిక, చేరిక. 'దంతపురేకు సంతనపని.' Satya. ii. 125. సంతనచేయు santana-chēyu. v. a. To fit, adjust, join, unite. కూర్చు, చేర్చు. ఆ రాళ్లను బాగా సంతన చేసినాడు he fitted the stones together closely. సంతనకట్టు santana-kaṭṭu. v. n. To be united, చేరు, సంఘీభవించ To be prepared, ఆయిత్తపడు. సంతపడు santa-paḍu. (సంతన+పడు.) v. n. To be united, or adjusted. ఒద్దికపడు. సంతపరుచు or సంతపెట్టు santa-paruṭsu. v. a. To unite, adjust, చేర్చు.

(p. 1316) sahāyamu sahāyamu. [Skt.] adj. Auxiliary. ఉపబలమైన. సహాయము, సహాయత or సహాయ్యము n. Aid, help, assistance, succour, తోడు. నాకు దోవలో సహాయము చిక్కలేదు I had no assistance on the way. సహాయము చేయు to aid, to assist. సహాయముగా sahāyamu-gā. adv. As an assistant, as an aid, in assistance, తోడుగా, అనుకూలముగా. నాకు సహాయముగా వచ్చినాడు he accompanied me to help me. నాకు సహాయముగా మాట్లాడినాడు he spoke in my favour. అతనికి సహాయముగా వచ్చినవారు those who came to support him. సహాయుడు sahāyuḍu. n. An assistant, helper, companion, ally, associate, friend. అనుకూలుడు, తోడైనవాడు, స్నేహితుడు.

(p. 1388) hitamu hitamu. [Skt.] adj. Good, beneficial, friendly, kind, profitable, మంచి, అనుకూలమైన, ప్రియమైన, శుభమైన. హితశత్రువు a secret enemy. n. That which is good, benefit, welfare. మంచిది, మేలు. హితముగా hitamu-gā. adv. Agreeably, in a friendly manner, అనుకూలముగా, ప్రియముగా, హితవాది hita-vādi. n. He who gives good advice. మేలుచెప్పువాడు. హితుడు hituḍu. n. A friend, an ally. ఇష్టుడు. హితోపదేశము hit-ōpa-dēṣamu. n. Friendly advice. The name of a book on morals.
