(p. 206) okaṭi okaṭi. [Tel.] n. and adj. One. ఇందువల్ల ఒకటి వచ్చును from this one thing may result. ఇందులో ఒకటిన్ని తక్కువ లేదు there is not a single thing wanting. ఎవ్వరియింట్లోనైనా ఒకటే it is no matter in whose house (he) is. నేను చెప్పినది ఒకటి వాడు చేసినది ఒకటి I told him one thing and he did another. ఒకటి వెనుక ఒకటి one after another. దోవకు రెండు పక్కలను అడవి ఒకటే గాని దారి మంచిదే there is nothing but jungle on both sides, but the way is good. ఒకటిగా okaṭi-gā. adv. Together, unitedly, unanimously, conjointly. ఒకటిచేయు okaṭi-chēyu. v. a. To make one, unite, mix. ఒకటియగు okaṭi-y-agu. v. n. To be combined. ఒకట okaṭa. On or in one. At one time ఏకకాలమునందు. ఒకటొకటిగా okaṭ-okaṭi-gā. adv. Separately, one by one, one after another. ఒకటో okaṭō. adj. First. ఒకటోసాక్షి the first witness.

(p. 240) kanu kanu. [Tel.] n. The eye. See కన్ను. v. a. To see, perceive, observe. To know or understand. To bear or bring forth (young or fruit.) 'ననల్్గన.' (A. v. 132.) bearing blossoms. To beget. నలుగురిని కన్నతండ్రి one who has four children. To experience, feel, enjoy. ఇందులో మోక్షమును కన్న వారెవరు who among these has been to heaven. విమలతగనిరి they acquired holiness. కని / (the past p) is used adverbially; clearly, distinctly. ఆ సంగతినికని వ్రాసినాడు he wrote his letter with an eye to this point. కనిచెప్పు to specify clearly in words, to particularize. కనిగానములు the seeing and not perceiving. Oversight. Ila. i. 60.

(p. 303) kūḍu kūḍu. [Tel.] v. n. To be fit. తగు. To unite చేరు. To be possible. To accrue, be amassed, gained, acquired, come to hand. To agree, be united. v. a. To meet. To add or sum up. ఇందులో కూడినపని a matter connected herewith. దొమ్మికూడివచ్చిరి they came in a a mob. ఇదియును కూడక పోయిన and if this be out of the question. ఇది కూడకుంటే if this is impracticable. ఇక్కడికి రాకూడక as I could not go there. వారు నోరెత్తగూడలేదు they could not say a word. కూడని kūḍani. adj. Unsuitable, improper. కూడనిమాట an unappropriate word. కూడబడు kūḍa-baḍu. v. n. To meet, unite చేరు. కూడబెట్టు kūḍa-beṭṭu. v. a. To collect. చేర్చు. To save as money. కూడమి kūḍami. n. Impossibility. కూడముట్టు kūḍa-muṭṭu. v. t. To run after తరుముకొనిపోవు, to overtake or come up with కలిసికొను. కూడలి kūḍali. n. Joining, meeting. కూడలిపట్టు a place of meeting. కూడలిదారి kūḍali-dāri. n. The place where various roads meet. కూడలిరాయి kūḍali-rāyi. n. A corner stone. కూడలివాయి kūḍali-vāyi. n. The gable end of a house. రెండుపంచలుచేరిన మూలనున్న నీటిదారి. కూడిక kūḍika. n. Junction, చేరిక. Collocation, juxtaposition. Saving, frugality. Partnership. కూడికవాండ్లు partners in merchandise పాలికాపులు (Vizag.) కూడుకొను kūḍu-konu. v. a. To associate with, to unite. కూడుదల kūḍudala. n. Gain, profit. లాభము.

(p. 308) keluku or కెలకు keluku [Tel.] v. a. To stir up, dig up or loosen earth. To scratch. మాని పోయినపుండ్లు మరలికెలికినట్లు this is merely stirring an old quarrel, opening a healed sore. 'ఇందులకుంబోవందపడు ప్రత్యత్తరంబుల వీనింగెలంకినబుద్ధి క్షోభంబుగాక.' A. vi. 47. To dig up. పెల్లగించు. 'కోలలగెలికిన గుణములు గలవె.' Pal. 27. కెల్లగించు kella-ginṭsu. v. t. To dig up. పెల్లగించు To rake up, to irritate, to exasperate రేచు.

(p. 1326) sāramu sāramu. [Skt.] n. Essence, substance, the essential or vital part. The pith, sap, marrow. Juice. Vigour. The effect or purport. Riches, wealth. మూలగ, మెదడు. చేవ, జలము, పత్త, ఫలము. విత్తము, అర్థము, రసము. 'సారాస్వాదన, ప్రాణపంచకము దృష్ణంబాషి సంతర్పణన్.' A. vi. 29. టీ సారాస్వాదన, మెదడునుభుజింపగా, లోహసారము steel. వేదాంతసారము the essence of Theology; (this is the title of a certain Christain book) శూన్యసారము the essence of emptiness. భూసారము the fertility or richness of the earth. ఇందులో సారములేదు in this I see nothing of any worth. సారములేనిమాటలు dry and empty discourse. adj. Excellent, fruitful, rich, శ్రేష్ఠమైన. సారఖండము a rich or fruitful country of soil. 'సారాచారము' అనగా, శ్రేష్ఠమైన. సారవంతము. M. XIII. ii. సారతరము sāra-taramu. adj. More excellent. మిక్కిలిశ్రేష్ఠమైన. సారవంతము sāra-vantamu. adj. Fruitful, fertile, rich. సారాంశము the essence or purport of any matter. సారవత్తరము sāra-vat-taramu. adj. Best, most excellent. మిక్కిలి శ్రేష్ఠమైన. సారాంశము sār-āmṣamu. n. The essential part, the pith, gist or purport. An issue framed by a court. సత్త, నిగ్గు, సారస్యము.
