(p. 32) aṭṭu or అట్టుగా aṭṭu. [Tel.] adv. (A particle) So that, as, according to. అతడు వచ్చేటట్టు వ్రాయుము write a letter so that he may come. మీరు చెప్పినట్టుగా చేస్తిని I did as you bid me. ఆయన చెప్పినట్టు according to his order. వాడు ఇంకా అవతలకు పోవునట్టు అగుపడ్డాడు he seemed as though he would go further. నేను చెప్పినట్టు చేసినాడు he did as I said. వారు సాగిపోయినట్టుగా చెప్పెను he said that they had passed on. అట్టు గాక or అట్లాకాక aṭṭugāka. adv. Without being so. అట్టుల aṭṭula. adv. As soon as, soon after. వెంటనే. 'చెట్టు దిగి వచ్చినట్టుల.' H. ii. 47. Just as. ఆప్రకారము. అట్టే (for అట్లాగే) aṭṭē. [Tel.] adv. Thus. So. (p. 290) kukkuṭamu kukkuṭamu. [Skt.] n. A cock: a fowl in general. కుక్కుటధ్వజుడు the god kumārasvāmi, who has a cock on his banner. కుక్కుటి a hen. కుక్కురుకో the crowing of a cock. కుక్కురుముక్కురు అనకుండా ఉండినాడు he answered not a word, or he had not a word to say.

(p. 362) gā gā. [Tel.] n. (an adverbial affix being the infinitive కా of అగు) తండ్రిగా ఉండినాడు he was like a father to me దొరగా ఉండెను. he was as master, or he was master. మూడుగా తెలుస్తున్నది it looks like three. గమిగా వచ్చినారు they came in a crowd. నల్లగానున్నది it is black; Added to verbs. (p. 768) punna punna. [Tel. another form of పిన్న.] adj. Young. పున్నతేలు punna-tēlu. n. A young scorpion. వాడు పున్నతేలువలె అంటించి ఊరక ఉండినాడు he played the part of an innocent looking scorpion.

(p. 1107) lēka lēka. Conj. Or, else. ఇల్లు లేక తోట a house or a garden. లేకలేక lēka-lēka. adv. At last. లేకలేక వానికి ఒక కొడుకు పుట్టినాడు at last he had a son born to him. లేకపోవు lēka-pōvu. v. n. To be in want of. విహీనము గానుండు. వాడు అప్పుడు తెలివిలేక ఉండినాడు he was then out of his senses.
