(p. 152) uḍugu uḍugu. [Tel.] v. n. To fall away, grow thin, lean or emaciated, decrease, to be cast off, to be removed as a stone or chain: to be exhausted. To pause, halt, stop. To cease, abate, leave, quit, or relinquish anger. To cease or depart as desire. To be shaken (as a resolution.) M. II. if. 126. కానుపు ఉడిగినది breeding has ceased. ఉడుగక ceaselessly, incessantly, without intermission. ఎగతెగక. ఉడుకువ uḍukuva. [Tel. ఉడుగు+కువ] n. Cessation. Rest. ఊరట, ఉపశమనము. ఉడిగించు uḍiginṭsu. [Tel. causative of ఉడుగు] v. a., To weaken, to lower or starve. To loosen. To turn out, cause to leave, &c., to check, stop, bridle. To remove, do away with. పొగొట్టు.

(p. 152) uḍupu uḍupu. [Tel. causative of ఉడుగు] v. a. To efface, to turn out, to do away with, to wipe away, remove. To leave, to stop or cease. ఉడుగజేయు, ఉడిగించు.

(p. 422) cīkāku chīkāku. [Tel.] n. Vexation, puzzle. disgust, teazing, pestering. చీకాకు ఉడిగిన (i.e., హరించిన) యోగి a devotee who hath dispelled all those passions that harass the mind. చీకాకు చేయు or చీకాకుపరుచు chīkāku-chēyu. v. t. To displease, vex, trouble, శ్రమపరచు. శత్రుసైన్యమును చీకాకు పరిచినాడు he harassed the foe. చీకాకుపడు chīkāku-paḍu. v. n. To be vexed, harassed, puzzled or tormented.

(p. 662) niś niṣ. [Skt.] A negative prefix, altered from నిర్. (q. v.) in accordance with the rules of Sandhi. నిశ్చలము niṣ-chalamu. adj. Fixed, immovable, firm. నిశ్చింతుడు niṣ-chintuḍu. n. A man without care. చింతలేనివాడు. నిశ్చేతనము ṇiṣ-chēṭanamu. adj. Motionless, inanimate. నిశ్చేష్టుడు niṣ-chēshṭuḍu. n. One who cannot move, చేష్టలు ఉడిగినవాడు. నిశ్శబ్దము niṣ-ṣabdamu. n. Silence. adj. Silent, mute. నిశ్శబ్దముగా నుండు to be silent or speechless. నిశ్శేషము niṣ-ṣēshamu. adj. Without a remainder, total, entire, thorough, complete, సర్వము, అంతయును. నిశ్శేషముగా niṣ-ṣēshamu-gā. adv. Wholly, utterly, completely.
