(p. 148) uṇḍrāyi uṇḍrāyi. [Tel. ఉండ+రాయి] n. A ball of rice flour boiled in steam. ఉప్పినపిండిని ఉండలుగా చేసి వండినభక్ష్యము. ఉండ్రములు, ఉండ్రాలు, ఉండ్రాళ్లు uṇḍrāḷḷu. n. Cakes offered to the gods and particularly to Ganesa. ఉండ్రాళ్లపండుగ or ఉండ్రాళ్లతద్దె a feast kept by women who pay their vows by such offerings.

(p. 165) uppiḍi uppiḍi. [Tel. from ఉప్పు+ఇడి] adj. Saltless, unsalted. ఉప్పు లేని. ఉప్పిడిచప్పిడి మాటలు nonsense. ఉప్పిడి చప్పిడి good or bad. ఉప్పిడి చప్పిడి లేని కూడు dry bread: lit. a mess without any flavour.

(p. 165) uppirinta uppirinta. [Tel.] n. A certain plant. జ్యోతిష్మతి Cilastrus paniculata. The Oleum Nigrum plant.

(p. 165) uppu uppu. [Tel.] v. t. To cook or boil. To steam or scald grain. ఉడకబెట్టు, ఆవిరిపోక ఉడకబెట్టు. ఉప్పినపిండి flour boiled in steam. ఉప్పుడు uppuḍu. adj. Malted. ఉప్పుడు బియ్యము malted rice. ఉప్పుడు పసుపు kiln dried turmeric.

(p. 289) kuṇḍalamu kunḍalamu. [Skt.] n. An earring. చెవిపోగు, కుండలి kunḍali. n. One who has earrings. పోగులు గలవాడు. A snake or serpent పాము. A mystic phrase for the spinal marrow. A circular dance. కుండలాకారనృత్యము. (భార. విరా. i.) కుండలిస్థానము or కుండలిని or కుండలిశక్తి the pineal gland. సుఘమ్న (Vasu. Pref. 71.) Heyne says, a name of the తెల్ల ఉప్పిడి చెట్టు. కుండలినాడి. కుండలించుkunḍal-inṭsu. v. t. To put or mark a cipher round anything సున్నచుట్టు. (చంద్రా. i.) కుండలీ కరణము kunḍali-karaṇamu. n. To cancel by drawing a circle round an erroneous line. Giving or making a cipher సున్నచుట్టుట.
