(p. 168) uri uri. [Tel.] n. A noose or slipping knot: a snare. ఉచ్చు. కాలురి a snare for the feet. ఉరికోల uri-kōla. n. A rod attached to a noose. ఉరితాడు uri-tāḍu. n. A halter, a tether, a rope to tie a cow's legs when it is being milked. ఉరితీయు or ఉరిపోయి uri-tīyu. v. t. To hang: strangle. ఉరు పోసికొను uri-pōsi-konu. v. i. To hang one self. ఉరియాడు uri-yāḍu. (p. 173) ūgu or ఊగులాడు or ఊగాడు ūgu. [Tel.] v. n. To be agitated or shaken, to swing, to wag, roll. ఊగించు ūginṭsu (causal of ఊగు) v. a. To shake, to move, to swing or rock. ఊగులాట ūgul-aṭa. (ఊగులు+ఆట) n. Swinging: tottering. ఊచు ūṭsu. [Tel. causal of ఊగు] v. a. To swing, cause, to swing, to wag or shake, rock, nod. ఊగజేయు. చెయ్యి ఊచు to shake or wave (the hand in forbidding) or to say no, to forbid by the hand.

(p. 542) tūgu tūgu. [Tel.] v. n. To nod. To bow down, to be weighed down. To weigh తూనికపడు. To move or rock backwards and forwards. ఊగు, చలించు. To be paid or got. To sleep. కూరు. (p. 576) daṇḍemu or దండియము danḍemu. [Tel.] n. A cord line, or pole on which clothes are hung to dry. A kind of gymnastic exercise. దండెములుతీయు to perform a kind of gymnastic exercise, which consists in resting the hands on the ground and moving the body to and fro. కాళ్లు చేతులు నేలను మోపి ముందుకు వెనుకకు ఊగుట. శశాం. iii.
