A bone. ఎముక. అస్థిగతము in the bones, అస్థిగతజ్వరము or అస్థిజ్వరము slow fever, an internal fever. అస్థినిక్షేపము the rite of depositing the bones of the dead at a holy place. అస్థిపంజరము a skeleton, lit. a cage of bones. అస్థిభంగము fracture of the bones. అస్థిసంచయనము collecting the bones after the burning of a corpse. అస్థిసారము marrow.

(p. 174) ūṭa ūṭa. [Tel from ఊరు] n. Juice, sap. A fountain, a spring as of water. Marrow. ఎముక ఊట. Pickling liquor. strength. బలము, చేప. ఊటకల్లు ūṭa-kallu. n. A grain like అళ్లు. ఊటగుండు ūṭā-guṇḍu. n. The stone to which a weaver fastens the cross sticks on which he stretches his web. ఊటనీరు ūṭa-nīru. n. A gushing spring. ఊటపుట్టు. ūṭa-puṭṭu. v. n. To spring (as water.) ఊటబుడ్డిచెక్క ūṭa-buḍḍi-chekka. n. Wood that is strong and durable for building purposes. ఊటయెత్తు ūṭa-yettu. v. n. To be damp. ఊట యెత్తిన damp, moist. ఆ చెట్లు ఊట యెత్తిపోయినవి these trees have been injured by excessive moisture. ఊటయెత్తిన యిల్లు a damp house. ఊటగల heavy, abounding springs. సత్తువగల, బరువైన. ఊటగలకర్ర a heavy piece of wood. ఊటాడు ūṭāḍu. (ఊట+ఆడు) v. n. To shake, totter, waver, be agitated. చలించు, సంభ్రమించు. ఊటాడించు. (Vasu. iv. 159.) to shake కదల్చు, ఆడించు, అల్లలాడించు.

The tubers of a palmyra or of a mangrove tree. మొగిలి ఊడ, తాటిచుండు. చంటిపిల్ల an infant at the breast. మేకమెడచన్ను the teat-like appendages at the neck of the Indian goat. చంటిలో ఎముకలు ఏరనట్లు చేసేవాడు he is a keen investigator. చన్నుపాలు or చనుబాలు human milk. చన్నుగవ, చనుగవ, చన్గవ, చనుదోయి or చన్దోయి ṭsannu-gava. n. (p. 602) dummu dummu. [Tel.] n. Dust. దుమారము, దూళి. దంబోవడి. (దుమ్ము+పొడి.) Currystuff, మెంతి జిలకర్రచేర్చి చేసిన నున్నని కూరపిండి. A small, fierce and venomous snake called the cobra maurilla. మట్టిలో పూరియుండుపాము. పూడుపు or పూడ్పు. n. Burying, పూడ్చుట. Buried treasure. నిక్షేపము. పూడ్చు pūḍṭsu.
