To send, to make one go. ఊరేగించు To carry (a god, a married couple, &c.) in procession through the town. ఏదుదెంచు ēgu-denṭsu. [Tel. ఏగు+తెంచు] v. i. To go, proceed, repair, resort. పోవు. Also, to come వచ్చు. ఏగుపెండ్లి ēgu-penḍli. n. A procession in which the bride and the bridegroom are carried through the streets of a town at the end of a wedding పెండ్లికడపట వధూవరులను ఊరేగించునట్టి వేడుక.

(p. 545) teñcu or త్రెంచు tenṭsu. [Tel. The causal of తెగు.] v. a. To break, snap. తెగజేయు. వాడుతెంచు to break the cord., i.e., to make a woman a widow by breaking the cord which sustains the token of marriage (తాళిబొట్టు.) Hence ఒకనితాడుతెంచు to break a man's cord, to ruin a man. This verb occurs in compounds signifying 'to come' or 'go,' as అరుదెంచు, ఏగుదెంచు, ఏతెంచు, తనుదెంచు, చొత్తెంచు, పరతెంచు, పారుదెంచు, పుత్తెంచు, &c.

(p. 554) tēra tēra. n. Clearness. తేట. Want of any relationship or connection. సంబంధము లేమి. adj. or adv. Gratis, unpaid for సంబంధము లేని. Uselessly, వ్యర్థముగా. Without any trouble, easily, అనాయాసముగా. తేరకొంప a rent-free lodging. తేరకాడు a stranger, అన్యుడు; a temporary husband ఔచిత్య భర్త. An interloper: one who enjoys gratis. పైపై వచ్చినవాడు. తేరకత్తె a strange woman అన్యురాలు, a woman of loose character. తేరగుర్రము తంగేటిబరికె when you ride gratis, you use your cudgel well. తెరకు or తేరకుదేర tēraku. adv. Quite uselessly మిక్కిలి వ్యర్థముగా. Easily, అనాయాసముగా, తేర or తేరగా [from తెచ్చు.] used with various verbs, as చనుదేర, పుత్తేర. ఏగుదేర while coming, while going. R. iii. 2. కొనితెర while he brought, కొని తెచ్చుచుండగా. తేరకొను tēra-konu. v. n. To become clear. తేటపడు. To abound, teem. తేటకొనన్ fully. సమృద్ధిగా, స్పష్టముగా. Swa. iii.
