(p. 276) kāryamu kāryamu. [Skt.] n. An act, deed, work, doing, business. An affair. An object. An effect, result. Use, good, profit, advantage. పని, ఫలము. అందువల్ల ఏమికార్యము what is the good of it? The thing to be done or which ought to be. Bhāskara § 41. కార్యాకార్యము తెలియక not knowing good from bad. కార్యవాది one who looks to the main point opposed to ఖడ్గవాది a brawler. కార్యస్థుడు kāryas-thuḍu. n. A clever man, a man of ability. కార్యస్ధానము an office, a place of business. కార్యదర్శి a secretary. గౌరవకార్యదర్శి an honorary secretary.
