(p. 102) asahāyata a-sahāyata. [Skt.] n. Loneliness, solitude, the life of a hermit. ఒంటి, అసహాయశూరుడు a-sahāyaṣūruḍu. n. He who fights single-handed. అసహాయుడు a-sahāyuḍu. n. He who is friendless, he who is single-handed. ఒంటిగాడు, రెండోమనిషి సహాయము లేనివాడు.

(p. 122) āreboṭṭe āre-boṭṭe. [Tel.] n. The sharp claw that is on the back of a cock's leg. కోడి కాలి వేలికి వెనుకతట్టున సూదివలె మిక్కిలి వాడిగానుండే ఒంటిగోరు.

(p. 205) oṇṭi onṭi. [Tel.] n. One (of a pair or couple) Privacy. ఏకాకిత్వము. ఒంటికిపోవు to go to pass water. ఒంటి adj. Single, only one. ఒంటిపార a single fold. ఒంటికొయ్య a single masted (vessel.) ఒంటిగంటకు at one o'clock. ఒంటి (genitive of ఒడలు or ఒళ్లు) adj. Of the body. ఒంటెత్తుగానుండే headstrong, self-willed.

(p. 205) oṇṭikāḍu or ఒంటిగాడు onṭi-kāḍu. [Tel.] n. A single man, a lonely person. A rhinoceros, or a wild boar. ఏకచరము. 'అనురక్తిరేచునూతనసారసాటోప మొంటికాండ్రకు బెంపులొసగునెచట.' హరిశ్చంద్ర. నల. ii.
