(p. 188) eduru eduru. [Tel.] n. The front. An opponent ప్రతివిరోధి. adj. ఎదురు opposite, other. అన్యమైన. ఎదురాడు edur-āḍu. (ఎదురు+ఆడు) v. i. To speak against, to oppose. మారాడు. ఎదురీదు to swim against, to resist. ఎదురుకట్టుల or ఎదురుకట్ల eduru-kaṭṭula. adv. In front ఎదుట. ఎదురుకుత్తుక eduru-kuttuka. n. The lock jaw. ఎదురుకొను or ఎదుర్కొను eduru-konu. v. n. & a. To go forward to meet. To act against, to disobey. ఎదురగు, ఎదిరించు. ఎదురుకోలు or ఎదుర్కోలు edur-kōlu. n. The mutual advances of the relations of the bride and bridegroom during the marriage. Going forward to welcome a guest. ఎదురుగడ eduru-gaḍa. n. A head-wind, a contrary wind. ఎదురుచూచు eduru-ṭsūṭsu. v. n. To look forward, expect ప్రతీక్షించు. ఎదురుపడు eduru-paḍu. v. To come forward to meet. ఎదురుగావచ్చు. To be met. వాడు నాకు ఎదురుపడినాడు I met them. ఎదురుపలుకు eduru-paluku. v. n. To object, gainsay. ఎదురురొమ్ము eduru-rommu. n. The chest or breast. రొమ్ము నడిమి భాగము. ఎదురువడ్డి cross interest. ఎదురువ్యాజ్యము eduru-vyājyamu. n. A cross suit ఎదురేగు edur-ēgu. v. i. To go in the opposite direction to meet. ఎదురుగాపోవు. ఎదురొత్తు edur-ottu. n. A return push, shove for shove. మారొత్తు. ఎదురుక్షౌరము shaving against the grain, or, the wrong way.

An agreement, engagement, compact, treaty, covenant, consent, assent సమ్మతి; నిబంధన పత్రిక; సమ్మతించి వ్రాసి యిచ్చిన వ్రాత. ఒడంబడు oḍam-baḍu. v. t. To agree, engage, consent. To comply with, to concede సమ్మతించు. ఒడంబరుచు oḍam-baruṭsu. v. t. To persuade, convince. ఒడచాటు Same as ఒడంబడిక.

The handle of a plough staff, నాగేలులోనగువాని మేడి. పిడిగంట piḍi-ganṭa. n. A bell with a long handle. పిడిగుద్దులు piḍi-guddulu. n. Blows. పిడిగొట్టు piḍi-goṭṭu. v. a. To geld, as an animal. Literally, to strike the handle (of a chisel, &c., which is placed on the testicle.) ఎద్దువట్టలుకొట్టు, పిచ్చలుతీయు. పిడిపిప్పెడాకు piḍi-pippeḍ-āku. n. An acrid gummy weed, poisonous to sheep, also called వెగటజిగురు or గాడిదెగడపర. పిడిమూర piḍi-mūra. n. The distance between the elbow and the closed fist. పిడియము or పిడెము piḍiyamu. n. A dagger, బాకు. పిడివాటు piḍi-vāṭu. n. Taking sheaves of corn up in the hand and beating out the grain from them. An agreement, ఒడంబడిక. పిడివాటుచీటి a note or letter which parties write to each other after an agreement. పిడివాదము piḍi-vādamu. n. Obstinacy, మూర్ఖము. పిడివేయు piḍi-vēyu. v. n. To put a handle on to anything. పిడిసాన piḍi-sāna. n. An anger, a drill. బరమా పిడిసి or పిడినె piḍisi. n. A Rose colored Pastor or Cholum Bird. 'పిడిసెలు చేనిమీద నొకబిస్సునవాలగజూచి.' Sri Natha.

(p. 998) muccilikā or ముచ్చిలిక muchchilikā. [H.] n. An agreement in writing, a deed. వాదిప్రతివాదులు మధ్యస్థులకు వ్రాసియిచ్చు ఒడంబడిక, కాపులు నేలగలవారికి వ్రాసియిచ్చెడి ఒడంబడిక.

(p. 1233) vyavastha vyavastha. [Skt.] n. A decree, a statute, rule, law. A written extract from a code of law, a written legal opinion. An engagement, agreement, contract. శాస్త్రనిరూపితనియమము, విధి, నియమము, కోర్టు పండితుడు వ్రాసియిచ్చే విధానపత్రిక, ఒడంబడిక. వానికి ఒక వ్యవస్థలేదు he goes by no rule. వ్యవస్థలేని illegal, unlawful, నియమములేని. వ్యవస్థితము vyavasthitamu. adj. Arranged, fixed, settled, decreed, నియమింపబడిన.
