(p. 207) oggu oggu. [Tel.] v. n. To try, undertake పూనుకొను; to yield, submit, లోబడు; to be ready, to stand in order, to be in trim. సిద్ధపడు. To bend, to bow, వంగు. v. a. To spread (as a net) పరుచు, ఒడ్డు. To spread చాచు. To lend or give an ear or the hand, to apply (the mind), to apply, to present. ఒగ్గుబల్ల oggu-balla. n. A rest or prop in a lathe.

(p. 208) oḍi oḍi. [Tel.] n. The lap, the loins: తొడ పైభాగము. A pocket or pouch formed by a fold in a person's vest. Also, same as ఒడువు. (q. v.) పశుయోని. ఒడిలోపోయు to put in one's pocket, to devour. ఒళ్లో or ఒడిలో కూర్చుండు to sit in the lap. ఆవుకు ఒడిజారినది నేడో రేపో దూడవేయును the cow is on the point of calving. ఒడికట్టు oḍi-kaṭṭu. n. A girdle, as part of female dress. ఒడ్డాణము. చెంగాని ఒడికట్టు a red petticoat or girdle. ఒడికట్టు oḍi-kaṭṭu. v. t. To bind up the apron, &c. as a pocket. To be ready or eager to do a thing యుత్నించు. వాడు పాపానికి ఒడికట్టెను he set himself to commit crime.

(p. 208) oḍucu oḍuṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To pierce, to stab, to gore. To attack. పొడుచు. To seize, snatch. To defeat. To overthrow. ఓడించు.

(p. 208) oḍupu oḍupu. [Tel.] n. Catching, seizing. 'ఒడుపుదప్పినయట్టి యురగంబుపోలె' (HD. i. 372.) like a snake that has missed seizing what it aimed at. An attempt పూనిక. A trick ఉపాయము. Profit, gain, లాభము. ఒడుపువేయు to use an expedient, to try, to take by trickery, to snatch away, to rob. ఎత్తుకొనిపోవజూచు.

(p. 209) oḍḍaga oḍḍaga. [Tel.] n. A weapon formed of two antelope's horns fixed one in each end of an ivory handle so as to form a short spear pointed at each end. ఇర్రికొమ్ములు రెండు జతపరిచి యేర్పరిచిన ఆయుధవిశేషము.

(p. 209) oḍḍagillu or ఒడ్డగిల్లు oḍḍagilu. [Tel.] v. i. To incline, lean on one side. ఒరుగు. To increase, to flow in excess అతిశయించు, ఉప్పొంగు. ఒడ్డగెడవు oḍḍa-geḍavu. v. i. To turn upside down. 'గీ కెడసెహయము లొడ్డ గెడవయ్యెరథములు.' M. VI. ii. 178. తలక్రిందైయుండు.

(p. 209) oḍḍanamu oḍḍanamu. [Tel. from ఒడ్డు] n. A military evolution, an arrangement of troops, a line of battle. వ్యూహము. A wager, anything staked at a game of chance పందెము. A standard or flag కేడెము.

(p. 209) oḍḍāṇamu oḍḍāṇamu. [Tel.] n. A cestus, or belt of gold or silver worn by women over their dresses.

(p. 209) oḍḍāramu oḍḍāramu. [Tel.] n. Obstinacy, jealousy, dislike ద్వేషము. Opposition ప్రతిఘటించుట, మారొడ్డుట. ఒడ్డారమైన obstinate. ఒడ్డారించు oḍḍārinṭsu. v. t. To dislike. To oppose, combat ప్రతిఘటించు.

Large, great, stout, big. ఒడ్డుగుండ్లు large balls, boulders, or, fragments of rocks hurled from a hill. ఒడ్డోలగము oḍḍ-ōlagamu. (ఒడ్డు+ఓలగము) n. A great assembly. ఒడ్డుమెరక high and low, ups and downs: unevenness.
