(p. 251) karavāyi kara-vāyi. [Tel.] n. A curved iron bar which is put inside a small mouthed metal pot to meet the blow of the hammer outside. కంచరవాడు సుత్తితో పాత్రములను సాగగొట్టునపుడు వానిలోపల ఒత్తుడుగా నుంచే యినుము.

(p. 1281) sambādhamu sam-bādhamu. [Skt.] n. Difficulty, trouble; a crowded place. ఇరుకు, సంకటము, ఒత్తుడు, సంకటస్థలము, ఇరుకుస్థలము. adj. Narrow, contracted, impassable, impervious; crowded, ఇరుకైన, ఒత్తుడుగా నుండే, చొరడానకు అసాధ్యమైన.

(p. 1304) sammardamu sam-mardamu. [Skt.] n. A throng, crowd, press. సంకులము, రాయిడి, ఒత్తుడు. War, a battle, యుద్ధము. జనసమ్మర్దము a crowd or press of people. సమ్మర్దముగా నుండే sam-mardamu-gā-n-unḍē. adj. Crowded. ఒత్తుడుగానుండే.
