Poundage fine: a fine for a trespass by cattle. పశువులదండుగ. బందెతీసికొను to exact a fine for stray cattle. బందెలదొడ్డి a cattle pound. బందెకాడు bande-kāḍu. n. One who puts in prison. చెరలోవేయువాడు. బందెకత్తె bande-katte. n. A woman who puts in prison, చెరలో వేయునది. బందెగొను bande-gonu. v. a. To imprison, చెరబెట్టు. బందెలపోతు bandela-pōtu. n. One who is given to imprison people. చెరవేయు స్వభావముగలవాడు. బందెవేయు bande-vēyu. v. a. To impound cattle. To exact a fine for cattle that have trespassed.

(p. 959) maryāda maryāda. [Skt.] n. A limit, boundary, మేర, పొలిమేర, తీరము. Respect, civility, సమ్మానము. Manner, way, fashion, decency, custom, rule. కట్టుపాటు. ఆయుర్మర్యాద the limit of life. మర్యాదమాట a civil expression. మర్యాదస్థుడు a gentleman, a respectable man. ఇది నీకు మర్యాదా is this manners? is this proper for you. మర్యాదైన maryād-aina. adj. Honourable, respectable.

(p. 1303) samuru samutu. [H.] n. A combination or league, a strike among workmen. కట్టుపాటు. 'ఒక యేకాదశి నాటరేయిసముతైయున్నట్లు రోవెట్టటువేడుకకుంరాకయు.' Vaij. ii. 87. సముతుకట్టు samutu-kaṭṭu. v. n. To strike work, కట్టుకట్టు. సముతుపడు to be caught, to yeild, పట్టుబడు, సముతుపరుచు to cause to yeild. 'తే మస్తకముదువ్విపలుమారు గుస్తరించి, సమరసముచూపి మెల్లనే సముతుపరిచి, వాగెబిగియించి తమ్మెమాల్వాగెసడలి, పన్నెపోకిన ముందర బరవదయ్యె.' చంద్రా. iii.
