(p. 236) kaḍupu or కడ్పు kaḍupu. [Tel.] n. The belly or stomach. వాని కడుపు కాలుచున్నది he is very hungry; కడుపు కట్టుకొను to stint oneself, restrain one's appetite. కడుపుమంట heart burning, malice, envy. ఓర్వలేమి, ఈర్ష్య. వాని కడుపులోని మాట the thoughts of his heart. నన్ను కడుపులో పెట్టుకొని పెంచెను he reared me tenderly. కడుపుతోనుండు to be pregnant or with child. కడుపుదిగినది she had a miscarriage. కడుపుదించు to effect miscarriage, to cause an abortion. పరకడుపు an empty or fasting stomach. పొత్తికడుగు an empty or fasting stomach. పొత్తికడుపు the abdomen. కడుపు చల్లగా నుండుట to be happy or blessed. కాడువునోపి belly ahe, stomach ache. కడుపూద. (కడుపు+ఊద.) a cattle disease in which the belly is bloated; also, envy ఓర్వలేనితనము, ఈర్ష్య.

(p. 353) gaṇagaṇa gaṇa-gaṇa. [Tel.] n. adj. adv. Tinkling. Aloud, again and again, over and over. 'గణగణగంట కడుపులోమంట. '

(p. 360) garbhamu garbhamu. [Skt.] n. The belly, the stomach, the womb. కడుపు. The inside of any thing, the interior; the middle. A fœtus కడుపులోని పిండము. నదీగర్భము the middle of a river. గర్భగృహము the nave, sanctuary, or shrine of a temple. గర్భముతోనున్న pregnant. గర్భముధరించు to conceive or become pregnant. ఆమె గర్భము కరిగిపోయింది she miscarried. ఆమెకు గర్భము నిలిచినది she has not miscarried. గర్భకలమము a swelling ear of corn. వరి పొట్టకరుకు. Vasu. ii. 101. గర్భాగారము a closet or recess. An inner chamber. లోపలిగది. ఏకగర్భజనితులయిన of full blood children of the same womb. గర్భవాసిగా నుండే yet in the womb, unborn. గర్భశత్రువు a secret enemy. గర్భాధానము the nuptial ceremony. గర్భాశయము the womb, the uterus. గర్భాష్టకము the eighth month of uterine gestation. The eighth year reckoning from conception. గర్భిణి garbhiṇi. n. A pregnant woman: చూలాలు.

(p. 1175) vidradhi vidradhi. [Skt.] n. A deep seated or internal abscess. గర్భములో పుట్టి నాభిలో బైలువెళ్లే వ్రణభేదము. A disordered liver, కడుపులోనిబల్ల.

(p. 1219) vēḍabamu vēḍabamu. [from Skt. విడంబనం] n. Curiosity, wonder, amusement. వింత, వేడుక, చోద్యము. A trick, trickery, deceit, మాయ, వంచన. A mask, వేషము. 'విలయకాలమందు విశ్వంబునీపెద్ద, కడుపులోన దాచుకడిదిమేటి, నటుడవవీవునేడు నాగర్భజుడవవుట పరమపురుష వేడబంబుగాదె.' (B. x. iii. 27.) 'అస్త్రంబుధరియిమచచుట, తపస్వియునట యిట్టివేడబము లెయ్యెడగలవే.' Kasi.
