(p. 148) uṇḍu uṇḍu. [Tel.] v. n. To be, exist, live. 2. To reside, dwell. 3. To remain, stop, stay. 4. To last, endure, continue. 5. To keep still, stay quiet; 6. To wait. To stand over, remain as a surplus. ఉండిపోవు, శేషించు. 7. To have. నాకు భార్య ఉండగా as I have a wife. 'కనకము ఉన్నవాడు' he who possesses gold. -- 8. To keep a feast. విజయదశమి ఉండినారు they kept the Vijaya Dasami feast. ఉన్న మాట యిది this is the fact. ఉన్నరూపు the true form, the reality. నేను అక్కడ పది దినములుంటిని I remained there ten days, వాడు (ఇంట్లో) ఉన్నాడా is he at home? మీ తండ్రి బాగా ఉన్నాడా is your father well? ఉన్నట్టుండి suddenly, just as they were. ఉన్నారు they are; రేపుదాక ఉంటారా will they remain till to-morrow? అక్కడ ఉన్నారా are they there?

(p. 239) kanakamu kanakamu. [Skt.] n. Gold. 'కనకంబునకును సౌరభ్యము కలిగినట్లు' (L. XIX. 332.) 'Marvellous as would be fragrance in gold: it is as strange as though gold were fragrant. (The Telugu poets frequently mention this fancy; that, were gold gifted with fragrance, it would be indeed perfect.) 'భూతిగడ్డకేల పుట్టించెవాసన, కనకము తనకేమి కల్లజేసె.' వేమన.

(p. 417) cippa chippa. [Tel.] n. A shell, పెంకు, గుల్ల. A cup, a saucer of earth, not of metal. గిన్నె. A hemisphere భూగోళమందర్థభాగము. (p. 1078) riṅkhaṇamu or రింగణము rinkhaṇamu. [Skt.] n. Slipping, stumbling. ౛ారుట, స్థలనము. తొట్రుపాటు. 'తుంగతురంగ రింఖణజధూళి పరీతపతంగ.' Balaram. v. 109. రింఖత్ rinkhat. adj. Slipping, stumbling. Skipping. గంతులువేయు, స్థలితమైన, తొట్రుపడే. Shining, ప్రకాశించే, 'రింఖత్కనకమణిపుంకశరముల.' T. v. 62. టీ రింఖత్ = ప్రకాశించెడి. (p. 1376) svarṇamu svarṇamu. [Skt.] n. Gold. కనకము, బంగారు. స్వర్ణరససిద్ధి alchemy. ఆ కవికి స్వర్ణాభిషేకము చేసినాడు he made the poet wallow in wealth. ఆ ధ్వజస్తంభమునకు స్వర్ణాభిషేకము చేయించినాడు he gilt the flagstaff of the temple. స్వర్ణకారుడు svarṇa-kāruḍu. n. A goldsmith. కంసలవాడు.
