Rox. iii. 704. కైదొండ or కాకిదొండ Cephalandra indica. కుంకుమ దొండ Bryonia pilosa. బ్రహ్మదొండ is a large sort of thistle with a red fruit. (Watts.)

(p. 1218) vēgiramu vēgiramu. [from Skt. వేగము.] n. Haste, speed, swiftness, త్వర, శీఘ్రము. adv. Quickly, త్వరితము. వేగిరించు or వేగిరపడు vēgir-inṭsu. v. n. To hurry or hasten. త్వరపడు. 'తామసించిసేయు దగదెట్టి కార్యంబు వేగిరింపనదియు విషమమగును, పచ్చికాయదెచ్చి పడవేయ ఫలమవునె.' Vēma. 103. వేగిరకాడు vēgira-kāḍu. n. A quick man; a hasty or rash man, త్వరగలవాడు. వేగిరకత్తె vēgira-katte. n. A quick woman, a hasty or rash woman, త్వరగలది. వేగిరపాటు vēgira-pāṭu. n. Hastening. త్వరపడుట. వేగిరపెట్టు vēgira-peṭṭu. v. a. To cause to hasten, to expedite, త్వరపరుచు.
