(p. 229) kacce kachche. [Tel.] n. A quarrel or fight. కచ్చెకుకాలుతవ్వు to bestir oneself for fighting. Lit. to paw the ground preparing for the fight.

(p. 277) kālu kālu. [Tel.] n. A leg, a foot, a claw, a talon. మోకాలు the knee. మిగాలు the upper surface of the foot. A pillar. నూరుకాళ్లమంటపము a portico built on 100 pillars. A quarter or fourth part. ముక్కాలు being three legs, or quarters. Bilh. ii. 154. కాళ్లకడ at the feet. కాళ్లజెర్రి a centipede. కంపకాలు a fence: lit. a fence-foot. కాలిడొంక (A. vi. 16) a foot path. కాలుత్రవ్వు to paw the ground, to be eager for fighting. M. A. v. 87. సన్నద్ధుడగు. నా కొడుకు పెండ్లాన్ని బిడ్డలను నాకాళ్లగట్టిపోయినాడు my son died and left a widow and children on my hands. మూడుకాళ్ల ముసలి (P. i. 322.) a three legged old woman, because leaning on a staff. తే 'మరుడుశైంగార వీధులేలర్పరచితనదు పేరనోవకపేటకట్టి సంప్తీతితోర ణాలనుంచిన కాలుకంబాలనంగ కలికియూరులు చెలుగు పై కాంచి మెరయ.' (p. 519) tavvu or త్రవ్వు tavvu. [Tel.] v. a. or v. n. To dig. కాలుత్రవ్రు to paw or spurn the ground. to be eager for. ఊరక తవ్వుకొన్నట్టు అవుతుంది this is merely beating about the bush. పాతరతవ్వుకొను to open a closed grain pit. తవ్వకము or తవ్వాటము tavvakamu. n. Digging, excavation, breaking up soil. తవ్వించు tavvinṭsu. v. n. To cause to dig up. నా యిల్లు తవ్వించి సోదాచూచినారు they dug up the floor of my house and ransacked it. తవ్వుగోల or తవుగోల tavvugōla. n. A spade.

(p. 603) duvvu duvvu. [Tel.] v. a. To stroke, finger, or handle. To comb. To run the fingers through the hair. కాలుదువ్వుట to draw the foot slowly over the ground, to paw the ground with the foot. మీసాలుదువ్వు to stroke one's mustaches. కయ్యమునకు కాలుదువ్వు or కాలుత్రవ్వు to paw the ground (in fury.) దువ్వి or దు వ్వు duvvi. n. A tiger, పులి. A leopard, చిరుతపులి. దువ్వెన duvvena. n. A comb.

(p. 644) nāmā nāmā. [H.] n. A deed, letters patent. కరారునామా an agreement. రాజినామా a deed of an amicable settlement. వకాలుతునామా a deed of attorney, a power of attorney given in writing.
