(p. 404) cakōramu chakōramu. [Skt.] n. The bartavelle or Greek partridge: a bird much referred to in poems: corresponding to the nightingale, or turtledove. చంద్రకిరణములకు చకోరపక్షులు ఏ విధముగా నిరీక్షించుకొని యుండునో eagerly as the partridge languishes for the rays of the moon.

(p. 668) nīru nīru. [Tel.] adj. Slight. అల్పము. నీరెండ the soft sunshine (ఎండ) of evening. 'నీరెండగాయ.' A vi. 129. నీరుపదును slight sharpness, కొంచెమువాడి. నీరుపాయము nīru-pāyamu. n. Youth, adolescence, యౌవనము. నీరుకావి or నీర్కావి nīru-kāvi. n. A reddish tint. the soft tint of fine cloth after its newness has gone off. కొంచెమెరుపు. నీరు కావులు nīru-kārulu. n. A sort of grain.
