(p. 215) oḷle vāṭu olle-vāṭu. [Tel.] n. A scarf, the upper garment gracefully arranged round the neck. The wearing of an upper cloth. పై బట్టను కుచ్చెళ్లుపెట్టి మెడచుట్టి వచ్చునట్లుగా భుజములమీద వేసికొనుట.

(p. 291) kucce kuchche [Tel.] n. A heap, a stack, a pile. పిడకలకుచ్చె a heap of cow-dung cakes. కుచ్చెలు or కుచ్చెళ్లు the folds of the lower cloth which the Hindus tie round their loins.

(p. 291) kuccetīyu kuchche-tīyu. [Tel.] v. t. To hollow the back of a jewel so as to increase its lustre when set రత్నములకు సానపట్టు. కుచ్చెతీసినకెంపు a ruby hollowed behind.

(p. 291) kuccela kuchchela. [Tel.] n. (plu. కుచ్చెలలు or కుచ్చెళ్లు.) A rick of corn. A heap of cut corn. జొన్నలలోనగువానికుప్ప. a land measure which in Guntur district is twenty nine acres or (33 3/16) thirty three gunṭas (see గుంట) and three sixteenths. One కుచ్చెల is nearly the same as a కత్తి of land, and is equal to eight గొర్రులు or 400 కుంటలు. The land that produces one stack of corn; it varies in various districts, and the above stated quantity is that fixed in the government rates. కుచ్చెళ్లువేయు to lay corn in ricks. కుచ్చెళ్లు See కుచ్చె. కుచ్చెలగంత or కుచ్చెల బొంత a bag of corn.

(p. 670) nuggu nuggu. [Tel.] v. n. To be smashed. నలుగు. n. A bit, fragment, తునుక. Powder, పొడి. A cake of cowdung dried for fuel. పిడక. 'నుగ్గులకుచ్చెలు' piles of such fuel. H. ii. 147. నుగ్గగు or నుగ్గులుపారు to perish, to be dashed to pieces, to be shivered. నుగ్గులైన broken to pieces. గుర్రముల్ నుగ్గయ్యె the horses were smashed. నుగ్గుచేయు nuggu-chēyu. v. a. To break to pieces, to reduce to dust. నుగ్గునుగ్గయి (beaten) to pieces. M. X. i. 171. నుగ్గునూచలై or నుగ్గునూచగా nuggu-nūṭsal-ai. adv. In bits. నుగ్గాడు to cut to pieces, ఖండించు.

(p. 702) paḍugu paḍugu. [Tel.] n. The woof or threads which run the whole length of the web. బట్టయొక్క నిడుపునూలు. A heap of grain, పైకప్పు తీయగా మిగిలిన జొన్న కుచ్చెల, లేక, వరికుప్ప, కూలిపడుగులు thread given out to be woven as piece work. పడుగుచేయు. paḍugu-chēyu. v. a. To dress, teazle or card the woof with a comb.

(p. 935) maṇḍe or మండియ manḍe. [Tel.] A stock or heap of the unthrashed ears of the great millet, or of cut tobacco. జొన్న కుచ్చెలను దించి కంకికోసి ప్రోగువేసి ఆరవేసిన పొగాకుకుప్ప.

(p. 1078) riṅgu ringu. [Tel.] n. The flutering of wings. పక్షిపక్షాదిధ్వని, రెక్కలగాలి చప్పుడు. రింగులు ringulu. n. plu. The ends of a garment. చెంగులు, వస్త్రపుకుచ్చెళ్లు. 'బలువైనవిలువచే జలు వైనసన్నంపు వలువ రింగులుగా గవారగట్టి.' Raja Sēkhara. i. 24. 'పులితోలు విడిపించి జిలుగుదువ్వలువ రింగులు వల్లెవాటుమై కొలుపవచ్చు.' R. ii. 109.
