(p. 3) aṅkuḍuceṭṭu ankudu-cheṭṭu. [Skt.] n. A species of Nerium Antidysentericum. Also called చిట్టిఅంకుడు and కొండజెముడు.

(p. 153) uḍḍukuḍucu uḍḍu-kuḍuṭsu. [Tel.] v. n. To be out of breath, to be suffocated. To be at one's wits' end. ఊపిరి తిప్పుకొనలేక బాధపడు. స్నానమందు నీళ్లచలికి ప్రాణములు ఉడ్డుకుడిచినవి the coldness of the water took away my breath. పిల్ల పాలుడ్డుకుడిచినది the infant was choked with milk.

(p. 177) ūlamāla ūlamāla. [Tel.] n. Pain, anxiety తహతహ. ఊలమాలకుడుచు to suffer pain or anxiety. తహతహపడు.

(p. 287) kuṅkuḍuceṭṭu kunkuḍu-cheṭttod;u. [Tel.] n. The soap nut tree. Sapindus detergens or Sapindus emarginatus. కుంకుడుకాయలు kunkuḍu-kāyalu. n. Soap nuts. కుంకుడు పురుగు kunkuḍu-purugu. n. The insect called a lady bird. ఒకానొక ఎర్రపురుగు.

(p. 291) kuṭajamu kuṭajamu. [Skt.] n. A tree called Echites antidysenterica. అంకుడుచెట్టు. A. iv. 149. కొడిసె, గిరిమల్లిక, కొండమల్లె, కోలముక్కు.

(p. 293) kuḍucu kuḍuṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To eat. To suck. To suffer or incur (punishment.) To gain. అనుభవించు, త్రాగు, భుజించు. కుడుపు kuḍupu. v. a. To feed. To suckle. కుడువజేయు. ఇది నీకు దేవుడు కట్టి కుడుపును God will reward you with evil for this evil. చన్నుగుడ్ఫినన్ on giving the child the breast. కుడుపు n. Food, eating. భోజనము. Enjoyment అనుభవము. The tongue of a hell.

(p. 303) kūḍu kūḍu. [Tel. from కుడుచు to eat or enjoy.] n. Food, victuals, boiled rice, అన్నము. The pith inside a palm tree: infl. కూటి. plu. కూళ్లు. viands, dishes. పుట్టకూడు the red earth in the heart of a white ant hill, which contains the eggs. వానికి కూటికిలేదు he has not bread to eat. కూటిపేదలు the indigent: those who have no food.

(p. 518) tallaḍamu tallaḍamu. [Tel.] n. Shaking, tremor చలనము. Trouble. బాధ. పిల్లికి చెల్లాటము ఎలుకకు ప్రాణతల్లడము it is sport to the cat but death to the rat. స్వతంత్రము స్వర్ణలోకము పరతంత్రము ప్రాణతల్లడము Independence is heaven but dependence is hell. ఇది నాకు ప్రాణతల్లడమవును this will be the death of me. తల్లడించు, తల్లడిల్లు. తల్లడకుడుచు, తల్లడమందు or తల్లడపడు tallaḍinṭsu. v. n. To be troubled, to grieve, be harassed. తల్లడపెట్టు tallaḍa-peṭṭu. v. t. To trouble, బాధపెట్టు, చలింపజేయు. తల్లడపాటు tallaḍa-pāṭu. n. Trouble, agitation. తల్లడపడుట.

(p. 886) bilukumāru biluku-māru. [Tel.] v. n. To die. To be destroyed, to perish. 'కాల్బలమున్ దనవీకవచ్చియున్, మరలియుదూలియున్ బిలుకుమారియునల్గడ బారియున్.' M. VIII. i. 4. బిలుకుమార్చు biluku-mārṭsu. v. a. To kill, to destory. 'మనుజనాధయొక్కడవుపూని మహాద్భుతబాహుసంపదన్, మిమువడి దాకెదన్ బిలుకుమార్చెదనంట యుదాత్తమైనధైర్య మహిమగాదె.' M. IX. ii. 102. బిలుకురబట్టు bilukura-baṭṭu. v. a. To strangle. 'ఒక్కరుడుభూరిశ్రవుగిట్టి, నీగర్వమణగింతునేడనితిట్టి. పెడకేలుబిగబట్టిబిలుకురబట్టిపడద్రోచి తామీదబడి గ్రుద్దుచుండె.' Dab. 216. చిలుకురబట్టి, అనగా ఊపిరితిరగకుండాపట్టి. బిల్కురు bilkuru. v. n. To be suffocated or strangled. ఉడ్డుకుడుచు.
