(p. 562) toluku toluku. [Tel.] v. n. To rain. వర్షించు, కురియు. తొలుమొగలు (తొలుకు+మొగులు.) a raining cloud వర్షించుచున్నమేఘము. To burst forth, overflow, be emitted (as flames, tears, rays, sweat, &c.) తొలుకు నవ్వు a smile playing or beaming over the countenance.

(p. 912) bōru bōru. [Tel.] adj. Great, large. బోరుతలుపులు or బోర్తలుపులు large doors, పెద్దకవాటములు. 'వారలుతమ తమవాకిటి, బోరుతలుపులెట్టి సమయములదెరవకతా, రారసిపదిలముసేయుచు, వారూఢస్థితివహించిరా సౌధములోన్.' KP. vi. 130. n. A rush or downpour, as of heavy rain, వానకురియుటయందగు ధ్వన్యనుకరణము. బోరున, బోరన, భోరున or భోరన bōruna. adv. Quickly, rushingly, శీఘ్రముగా. Much, grandly, greatly, heavily (as rain.) వాన జోరున కురిసినది it rained heavily. బోరునిఏడ్బినది she wept bitterly. 'మనుజేశ్వరులెల్లనుబోరన దమయంతీ స్వయంవరమునకు నొప్పంజనుదెంచిరి.' M. III. ii. 28. బోరుకలగు, బోరుకలుగు or బోరుకల్గు bōru-kalugu. v. n. To sound loud, మ్రోగు, ధ్వనించు బోరుకొను bōru-konu. v. n. To resound, sound aloud. 'భేరిమొదలగువాద్యముల్ బోరుకొనగ.' Ila. i. 104. బోరుకొలుపు bōru-kolupu. v. a. To sound. ధ్వనించునట్లుచేయు. 'బూరుగల్ కంచుకొమ్ములు కాహళములు బోరు కొలుపుటకు నంబుధులెల్లగలగ.' ND. ii. 552.

(p. 1013) musuru musuru. [Te.] n. A constant or continued rain; drizzle, or mizzling rain, విడువకకురియువాన, ముసురు, ముసురుకొను or ముసురుకవియు. v. a. & n. To cover as flies or ants do. To surround, to swarm or crowd together, చుట్టుకొను. ముసురుమూతి musuru-mūti. n. An angry-looking face. ముసురు మూతితనము crossness, ill-humour, peevishness. కోపిష్ఠితనము. ముసురుమూతివాడు a captious, or peevish man, a cross creature. కోపిష్ఠుడు. ముసురు మూతిమాటలు peevish talk.

(p. 1154) vāyi rāyi. [Tel.] n. The mouth, నోరు. The face, ముఖము. The edge of any cutting instrument, కత్తియంచు. Wind, వాయువు; as కోరవాయి, మండవాయి. వాయివిళంగము the name of a tree. M. III. vi. 261. నీళ్లవాయి a valley or hollow through which a stream sometimes runs, నలుదిక్కులను కురియునీళ్లు వచ్చేదారి. నూతివాయికట్టు a parapet round a well, దవురుగోడ, పశ్వాదులుపడకుండా భావిచుట్టుకట్టినగోడ. A chatter box, వదురుబోతు. వాతవాడి vāta-vāḍī. n. An unpleasant talker. వాతి vāti. (Gen. of వాయి.) వాతికాసు vāti-kāsu. n. Hush-money, a bribe, లంచము. వాతిబియ్యము or వాతికాసుబియ్యము vāṭi-biyyamu. n. A few grains of rice put in the mouth of a dead person when lying on the funeral pile. పీనుగునోటవేసే బియ్యము. వాయోడు vāy-ōḍu. v. n.
