(p. 322) korra korra. [Tel.] n. The grain called Millet, Panicum italicum. Heyne. Rox. i. 302. ఈశ్వరకొర్రలు a coarse kind of this grain. A sort of fish, Silurus boalis. Ham. పాఠీనము. కొర్రముట్టు or కొర్రమీను korra-muṭṭu. n. A fish found in tanks, thick and shaped almost like an eel, Gobius Lagocephalus. (Roxb.) H. iv. 225.

(p. 762) puñjanēla punja-nēla. [H.] n. Dry land, మెట్టపొలము. వుంజధాన్యము punjadhānyamu. n. Dry crops. The generic name for every kind of grain excepting rice. It includes కొర్రలు, ఉలవలు, సెనగలు, తమిదలు, ౛ొన్నలు, చామలు and so forth.

(p. 768) punāsa or పునాసలు punāsa. [from Skt. పునర్వసు, the name of a star or constellation.] n. The first crop of the year which consists of grain of an inferior kind, కొర్రలు, బొబ్బర్లు మొదలగు ధాన్యము. ఆము. iv.

(p. 804) poṭṭu poṭṭu. [Tel.] n. Husk, bran. ఉముక. The scales of fish. Vēma. 1364. పొట్టు దాన్యము grain that has a coat or husk, as వడ్లు, అరిగలు, కొర్రలు, చామల్ను వరిగెలు, &c. పొట్టుకర్ర an empty sprout in a ear of corn. గట్టివిడిచిపెట్టి పొట్టుకు పోరాడెదవా will you give up the real for the false? మీదితోలు పొట్టుపొట్టుగా రాలిపోయినది the skin peeled off in scales. పొట్టుపొరలగు poṭṭu-poral-agu. v. n. To be troubled, harassed or tormented. పీడితమగు. 'అప్పాపాత్ముండెట్లునుం జక్కంబడక తనచలంబుతోన పొట్టపొరలయ్యె కయ్యంబు పొడుచు వాడుగాని.' M. V. iv. 88.
