(p. 867) bammariñcu or బమ్మరిల్లు bamma-rinṭsu. [from Skt. భ్రమ.] v. n. To err, to go wrong, భ్రమించు. To be confounded, to be afraid or amazed, బెదరు, తొందరపడు. 'కోరలుగలవాని, గోళ్లనుగలవాని, గొమ్ములుగలవాని నమ్మవలదు, బమ్మరించెనేని బ్రతుకంగవచ్చునే, యెలుగుతోడిచెలిమియేల నీకు.' G. i. 284. 'పొడమాపినట్లైన వడిబట్టసమకట్టి. పరికించి కానక బమ్మరించు.' M. IV. ii. 303. బమ్మెర or బమ్మర bammera. n. Confusion. భ్రమ, బ్రాంతి, కళవళపాటు. బమ్మరపోవు v. n. To be in fright or confusion, భ్రమపడు, కళవళపడు. 'ఎలదేటిదాటులన్ బమ్మెర పోవదోలు దెగబారెడు వెంట్రుకలు.' Swa. iii. 5. బమ్మెరపోక bammera-pōka. n. The act of being confused. బమ్మెరపోవుట.

(p. 1152) vāni vāni. [Tel. Possessive of వాడు and another form of వాడి.] pron. Of him, his. వానియొక్క. వానిన్ or వానిని (the acc. singular of వాడు or the acc. plu. of అది that.) Him, or them. Those things, వాటిని. 'కోరలుగలవాని గోళ్లలునుగలవాని రొమ్ములుగలవాని నమ్మవలదు.' (G. i. 284.) never trust those animals which have tusks, claws, or horns.

(p. 1316) sahasramu sahasramu. [Skt.] n. A thousand. వెయ్యి. Also, indefinitely used for many, or any great number, అనేకము. అహస్రదంష్ట్రము sahasra-damshṭramu. n. A thousand-toothed animal, i.e., a whale. వేయికోరలుగలచేప, పా ఠీనము. సహస్ర నామములు sahasra-nāmamulu. n. A thousand names. సహస్రనామపూజ. a hymn wherein a god is addressed by all his titles. సహస్రపత్రము sahasrapatramu. n. A lotus. కమలము. సహస్రపాదుడు or సహస్రాంశువు sahasrapāduḍu. n. Lit. the thousandrayed, i.e., the sun. సూర్యుడు. సహస్రాక్షుడు sahasr-ākshuḍu n. Lit. the thousand eyed; an epithet of Indra. ఇంద్రుడు.
