(p. 363) gāḍi gāḍi. [Tel.] n. A drinking trough or manager, a ditch, a groove. గాడినుయ్యి a well that is provided with a trough for watering cattle. గాడిపొయ్యి a kitchen range, being a trench containing fire under a line of places for pots.

An oven constructed with bricks or three pieces of stone placed like a triangle. గాడిపొయ్యి gāḍi-poyyi. n. An oven which is made by digging a long narrow pit in the ground. గుంటపొయ్యి gunṭa-poyyi. n. An oven formed by digging a pit in the ground.
