(p. 90) allāḍu or అల్లలాడు allāḍu. [Tel. అల్ల+ఆడు] v. n. To shake, move, wave, toss about, to wander about, to be in distress. ఆడు, గాలికి కొట్టుకొను, తిరుగు, సంచరించు, కడగండ్లబడు. 'ధరాచక్రమల్లాడె.' N. iv. 288. ధ్వజపటము గాలికి అల్లాడుచున్నది the flag flutters in the wind. కూటి అల్లాడుతాడు he is in want of bread. కొలువుకు అల్లాడుతాడు he is in trouble for want of employment. అల్లాటము allāṭamu [Tel.] n. A to-andfro movement, wandering about. అల్లారుదు or అల్లార్చు allāruṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To shake, move, vibrate, agitate, wag, wave. ఆడించు, విసురు. 'ఘనవాలమల్లార్చు.' N. i. 144. అల్లారుముద్దు allāru-muddu. [Tel. అల్ల+ఆరు+ముద్దు.] Prettiness, agreeableness, sweetness. జనసమ్మతి, అతిప్రేమాస్పదము. అల్లారుముద్దుగా ad. Prettily, agreeably, sweetly, pleasantly. జనసమ్మతిగా, అందరికి సంతోషముగా, ముచ్చటగా. 'పడుచుదనమున వేడుకపడుచున్నాడు ముద్దరాండ్రకు నల్లారు ముద్దుగాను.' N. ix. 102.

(p. 288) kuṇṭi kunṭi. [Tel.] adj. Lame, crooked. గాలికుంట్లు windgalls, rheumatism. కుంటితనము kunṭi-tanamu. n. Lameness, a crippled state. కుంటుkunṭu. n. Lameness, crookedness. A lame man కుంటు పిచ్చుక, కుంటివాడు. v. n. To limp, to go lame. కుంటుపడు kunṭu-paḍu. v. n. To become lame. కుంటియగు. To fail, or break down as an undertaking. విఘ్నమగు. 'అపుడుద్దాలకు డాగ్రహించి నిజభార్యంజూచి నిర్బాగ్యురా, లపవిత్రంబగుపార్వణంబు నవలిలంబెంటపైవైచి కుం టుపడంజేసితి శ్రాద్ధకర్మమని.' Jai. iv. 111. To be diminished తగ్గు. (p. 324) kollāramu or కొల్లారు kollāramu. [Tel.] n. A square enclosure, with chambers built at the corners. భవంతి. కొల్లారుబండి or కొల్లాబండి a car రథము, గాడీ. 'గాలికన్నను వేగజను చులకనివి యివెకొల్లారుబండ్లు.' S. i. 158.

(p. 365) gāli gāli. [Tel.] n. Wind, air, breeze. వాయువు. Scent మృగములదేహవాసన. A devil పిశాచము. plu. గాలులు. వానికి గాలి సోకినది he is possessed by a devil. గాలి విద్య an art that, like painting, depends on geniua alone and cannot be taught. గాలిమాట. a rumour. Empty talk, nonsense, లోక ప్రవాదము. గాలికుంటు a spavin, a disease that attacks horses and cattle. పిచ్చుకకుంటి, పశువులకు గొరిసెలందు పుండుపడే వ్యాధి. గాలికల a senseless or empty dream. వారిది గాలిజీవనము they live upon the wind, i.e., they have no settled means of life. గాలికుక్క gāli-kukka. n. Nothing, nonsense. గాలిగూళ్లు (from గూడు.) gāli-gūḷḷu. n. A mode of arranging sheaves so as to be aired. గాలిగొను gāli-gonu. v. n. To be aired. గాలిపారు. గాలిగోపురము gāli-gōpuramu. n. (p. 1195) visaru or విసురు visaru. [Tel.] v. n. To come out, బయలుపడు To blow, as the wind, to spread, as a scent. గాలికొట్టు, వీచు, వాసనకొట్టు. లోగా అణిగి ఉన్న రోగమును బైట విసిరేలాగు చేసేమందు a searching medicine, a medicine that makes a hidden disease appear. లోనికాక బైటికివిసిరినది the latent fever came out. v. a. To wave as a fan, to brandish, whisk, flourish, as a sword or a whip. ఆడించు. వీచు. To throw, fling, hurl, sling, రువ్వు. To turn, to grind. తిరుగలివిసరు to turn a mill. వలవిసరు to cast or let down a net. n. Waving, casting, spreading. ఆడించుట. వీచుట, వేయుట, వ్యాపించడము. కాటకపువిసరుచేత through the spreading of the famine. విసరురాయి visaru-rāyi. n. A grindstone. తిరుగలి. వసరియాడు Same as విసరు. విసరికొట్టు or విసరికొట్టు visari-koṭṭu. v. a. To fling, to dash. రువ్వు. To scorn, to huff. కసురు. ఒకడబ్బు ఇమ్మంటే మూతితో ముఖములో విసిరికొట్టుచున్నది he asked for a penny, she gave him a scolding. ఆ కుండను గోడమీద విసిరికొట్టినాడు he dashed the pot against the wall. విసరివేయు or విసిరివేయు visari-vēyu. v. a. To hurl, fling. రువ్వు. ఊరిబైట విసరివేసినట్టుగానుండే ఒకయిల్లు a house that seemed as if it had been thrown out of the town.
