(p. 382) gūṭamu or గూటాము gūṭamu. [Tel.] n. A tent-pin or stake, used both as a mallet and as a peg. The roller of a loom. కాసెగూటము an iron or wooden hammer shaped like a pestle and used by stonecutters and cobblers. A wooden or iron wedge. 'గూటంపుతిరుగుళ్లు.' H. v. 112.

(p. 430) ceralāḍu or చెర్లాడు cheral-āḍu. [Tel.] v. n. To move. సంచరించు. To spread (as smoke) వ్యాపించు. To wallow or play in water. To frisk, gambol. To play with, to sport with, క్రీడించు. చెల్లాటముచేయు. చెరలాట, చెరలాటము or చెర్లాటము cheral-āṭamu. n. A game, sport, ఆట. Moving about సంచరించుట, విహారము. (p. 1027) mēku mēku. [H.] n. A wooden or iron peg, a nail, a stake or spike, గూటము. మేకును పెరికినకోతి the monkey that drew out the wedge, i.e., one who brings injury on himself by too much meddling.
