(p. 211) onagūḍu ona-gūḍu. [Tel.] v. n. To be obtained; to succeed or attain. To be, happen, chance. To prosper. చేకూరు, సిద్ధించు. ఇతనికి ఆమె ఒనగూడినది she is well suited to him. ఒనగూర్చు ona-gūrṭsu. v. n. To effect, attain to, accomplish. To bestow, grant, accede to. సిద్ధించునట్లు చేయు.

(p. 326) kōḍāḍu kōḍāḍu. [Tel.] v. n. To amazed or confounded. To bewail అఘోరించు. To suffer pain బాధపడు. 'మొగము వెలవెల బుచ్చును కోడలింగూడికోడాడుచు.' G. v. 223. 'కూడెరుంగక తగగొంటివి చాలు, గోడాడకిచ్చోట గూర్చుండుమనుచు,' Dab. 217.

(p. 502) taṭasthamu taṭa-sthamu. [Skt.] adj. Present, near, at hand, proximate, approaching, next, impending, imminent. సమీపమందున్న, ఒనగూడిన. Temporary, occasional, for the time being. తటస్థమగు or తటస్థించు taṭastha-m-agu. v. n. To approach, draw near, or be at hand. to occur, happen, turn up. ఒనగూడు. చేటు తటస్థించియున్నవాడు one who is on the brink of ruin. తటస్థుడు taṭasthuḍu. n. An onlooker, A bystander, a spectator; one who is indifferent or impartial; a just person న్యాయస్థుడు. వాడు మిక్కిలి తటస్థుడు he is very just.

(p. 786) pekkaṇamu or ప్రెక్కణము pekkanamu. [Tel.] n. Dancing with gestures. అభినయముతో గూడిన నృత్యము.

[Skt.] (In composition,) with, together with సకుటుంబముగా together with one's family. సగుణము having (or endowed with) properties or qualities. సజాతీయము of the same tribe, of the same species. సటీక accompanied with a commentary. సదియుడు one who is kind or good. స పత్రము having wings, రెక్కలుగల. సమర్మకముగా in full detail, circumstantially, with all the particulars, minutely, దాచకుండా. సమూలము together with the root, having a root, entire, వేరుతోకూడా, యావత్తు. వారు సమూలముగా నాశమైనారు they are ruined, root and branch. సమేలంపు derisory, satirical. 'సమ్మేలంపుమాటల మేలమాడు.' Vish. vi. 19. సయుక్తికము reasonable, logical, rational. సరయత with speed, త్వరగా.' సరయతవచ్చి వెల్వడిహ౛ారరము చెంతరథంబుడిగ్గి.' T. iv. 193. సంలక్షణము classical, beautiful, handsome, లక్షణయుక్తమైన, అందమైన, సలక్షణమైనపడుచు a handsome girl. సలలితము beautiful, lovely. 'సలితకళానిధి.' T. Pref. 87. సవిస్తారముగా at full length, extensively, with all the particulars, completely, to the full, వివరముగా. సవినయముగా respectfully. సవినయుడై modestly. సహిరణ్యోదకపూర్వకముగా entirely; (lit. with money and water) - a phrase used in making gifts. సహృదయుడు a good hearted man. సహేతుకము reasonable, well grounded. కారణముతోగూడిన. సహేతుకముగా with the reason or the grounds, కారణసహితముగా. సాకూతము significant, అభిప్రాయసహితమైన. సాకూతస్మితము a wanton glance. A. iv. 41. సానుకూలము favour or kindness, success, ఉపకారము. ఆ పని వానికి సానుకూలమైన తరువాత when he succeeded in that affair. అది సానుకూలముకాక పోయినది it did not succeed. సానుకూలము favourable, kind, ఉపకారమైన. సానుకూలమైన మాట favourable word. సానుకూలముగా favourably, kindly, ఉపకారముగా. సాపత్న్యము the condition of a co-wife, the state of being or having a rival wife, సపత్నీభావము, సవతితనము. 'నీకనుపమసాపత్న్య సంపాదనంబు.' A. ii. 24. 'సాపత్న్యమునను గాకసైరింపగలదెయేకడపపత్నీ.' N. iii. 122. సాపత్న్యుడు an enemy, శత్రువు; the son of a co-wife. సుపత్నీపుత్రుడు. సాపరాధి a culprit, offender, sinner, he who is guilty, నేరస్థుడు. సావకాశము leisure, spare time, an interval, తీరిక, వ్యవధానము. సావధానముగా carefully, diligently, attentively, with due heed, జాగ్రతతో.

(p. 1283) saṃlāpamu sam-lāpamu. [Skt.] n. Discourse, conversation, friendly talk. సల్లాపము, ప్రతితోగూడిన సంభాషణము, ముచ్ట.

(p. 1297) saphalamu sa-phalamu. [Skt.] adj. Fruitful, advantageous, efficacious, successful. ఫలముతో గూడిన, సార్థకమైన. నా జన్మము సఫలమైనది my life has borne fruit, has been worth living. నా కోరిక సఫలమైనది my desire is accomplished ఈ యుక్తి సఫలమైనది this plan turned out well, this method was successful. నా పూర్వ జన్మ పుణ్యము సఫలమైనది the merit I acquired in a former birth has now brone fruit. సఫలత ṣa-phalata. n. Benefit, advantage, success, fulfilment. సార్థకత, సాఫల్యము.

(p. 1317) sahyamu sahyamu. [Skt.] adj. Sufferable, bearable, endurable, tolerable. తాళగూడిన, సహింపదగిన.

(p. 1327) sārthamu sārthamu. [Skt.] n. A pack, swarm or multitude of animals, a troop or caravan of merchants. జంతుసమూహము, ప్రాణిసమూహము, వణిక్సంఘము. adj. Significant, having a meaning, అర్థముతో గూడిన. సార్థవాహుడు sārtha-vāhuḍu. n. A merchant, a trader, a headman or leader, వైదేహకుడు, క్రయవిక్రయకారుడు, వర్తకుడు, ముఖ్యుడు.
