(p. 383) gūnu gūnu. [Tel.] n. A hump. A crooked back. గూని agūni. adj. Crooked. గూని చూపు drooping glances. Internal. గూనిపోటు an inward bruise. గూనివాడు or గూనిది a cripple, a dwarf కబ్జుడు. గూనుగిల్లు gūnu-gillu. v. n. To have or get a crooked back. గూనుకలుగు.

(p. 498) taṇṭemu or తంటియము tanṭemu. [Tel.] n. A medicinal shrub. Cassia tora, and Cassia alata, దదృఘ్నము, ప్రపున్నాటము, నీలిగూనలో వేసే విత్తులచెట్టు.

(p. 631) naḍḍi naḍḍi. [Tel.] n. The bending of the body back-wards. శరీరము వెనుకకు వంగియుండుట. (The bending of the body forwards or being hump-backed is called గూను.) The small of the back, the hollow above the loins. నడ్డినీల్గ కొట్టినాడు or నడ్డివిరగ పొడిచినాడు he gave him a blow that broke his back. adj. Sunk in, depressed in the middle, crooked. నడ్డిముక్కు a turned up nose. నడ్డిగా నిలుచు to stand with the belly pushed out, and the back drawn in.

(p. 811) poraḍu poraḍu. [Tel.] n. A hump. గూని, గూను. పొరడుపోవు poraḍu-pōvu. v. n. To become hump-backed. గూనుపడు. 'ద్వి నెరిగూనిపాండ్యుడన్ని ఖిలావనీకు, పొరడుపోయిననీవు పొరడుపోజేసి.' Charit. iii. 1792.

(p. 891) buḍusu buḍusu. [Tel.] n. Hollowness. బుడుసపోయిన lean, thin, fallen in. 'వెడకొంగమెడయును కడుగూనివీపును బుడుసుబోయిన రొండిబొక్కిరొమ్ము.' NH. iv. 184.
