(p. 40) atithi atithi. [Skt. a=not, and tiḍhi -- day; hence lit. one who comes unexpectedly;] n. A guest, a stranger. పరగృహగతుడు. అతిథిదర్మము title to hospitality. అతిథిపూజ or అతిథిసత్కారము welcoming a guest, showing respect to a guest by ministering to his wants. అతిథిసేవ attention paid to a guest, hospitality.

(p. 40) atiriktamu ati-riktamu. [Skt.] adj. Super abounding, excessive. Other, different. అత్యంతమైన, సమధికమైన, హెచ్చు అయిన, ఇతరమైన, అతిరిక్తగృహము the other house.

(p. 41) attamillu attamillu. [Skt. from అస్తమించు.] v. n. To sit down, lie down; to lean against. ఒరుడు, కూర్చుండు, పరుండు. 'పసుపు టాకుల గుత్తుల సత్తమిల్లు సెత్తావుల మొత్తంబులు తాలవృంతంబులై.' S. iii. 436. 'విదురుండు మణిపీఠంబునం గృష్ణుని వెన్ను దెసతీదీయోన్న తపీఠంబున నత్తమిల్లియుండె.' M. V. iii. 253.

The old dragon, who is worshipped as the supporter of the earth. ఆది, ఆదిగా ādi. n. (p. 141) illu or ఇలు illu. [Tel. The primitive. form is ఇల్ which means 'a house. ఆలయము (q. v.) borrowed by Skt. from Drav. means (1) house and (2) 'God's abode' or house cf. కోయిల or కోవెల.
