(p. 219) ōru ōru. [Tel. from హోరు] n. Sound, noise. Red colour applied to the walls of a house on festive occasions. ఇంటిగోడయడు గనను మూలలను వేసే ఎర్రమంటిపట్టె. ఓరు adj. Large. ఓరుగాలి a great or noisy wind మిక్కిలి బలముగల గాలి. ఓరుతీయు ōru-tīyu. v. i. To mark red streaks on the walls and corners of a house. గోడలమీదను మూలలను ఎర్రమంటితో పట్టెలు తీర్చు.

(p. 888) bīra bīra. [Tel.] n. The sharp angled cucumber. నేతిబీర the butter cucumber. చేతిబీర or చేదుబీర the bitter kind. మగబీర Anisomeles malabarica. (Watts.) adj. Large, పెద్ద. బీరెండ hot sun-shine. బీరజడలు luxuriant tresses. బీరనరాలు large veins. ఆడబీరాకు or గోడలబీరాకు Betony leaved black Horehound, Ballota disticha. బీరపండ్లు bīra-panḍlu. n. A sort of scarlet berries, that are eaten, but quite distinct from బీరకాయ.

(p. 911) bōde , or బోదియ bōde. [Tel.] n. The trunk of a tree, ప్రకాండము. The bulging part of anything. The pediment or chapter of a pillar, స్తంభముమీద దూలముకిందనుండేది. Also, a runnel or small channel for watering trees. మళ్లకుకట్టేకాలువ. 'పూచిన యొక్క పోకమనుబోదియజేరి.' Swa. ii. 33. 'అరుగులుసున్నంపుటెరమంటి పట్టెలుతీర్చినగోడలుతేజరిల్ల. నిండుసున్న పుపూతనెరచాలుబోదెలు దిద్దినదేవరమిద్దెవర.' H. i. 167. 'మిద్దెలో బోదియమీదనున్న తలపొందుగదీసుకరమ్మటంచు.' ib. i.224. బోదెకొయ్య a piece of wood for a doorstep, గడపకిందికమ్మి.

(p. 983) mikkili mikkili. [Tel.] n. Much, abundance, greatness. అధికము. విస్తారము. 'మిక్కిలియైన కీర్తి.' భార. అర. vi. adj. Great, much, vast, అధికము. Excellent, fine, best, శ్రేష్ఠము. మిక్కిలికన్ను an extra eye, అధికమైనకన్ను. 'క మిక్కిలిచేతులును వాని మిక్కిలికన్నున్.' భార. సభా. ii. 'సీ అఖిలచతుష్పదములకు ధేనువు మిక్కిలి మానవులకు బ్రాహ్మణుండు వరిష్ఠుండు, పక్షులందు శ్యేనమధికంబు.' భార. అశ్వ. ii. మిక్కిలికంటి వేల్పు Siva. మిక్కిలి దిక్కు the sky. ఆకశము. Very, greatly, much, vastly, extremely, excessively, too much, more than. మిక్కిలి అవాస్తవమైన utterly false. మిక్కిలి రహస్యముగా very secretly. గోడలు మిక్కిలి పడిపోయినవి the walls are ruined. మిక్కిలివాడు mikkili-vāḍu. n. a great person, అధికుడు. (p. 1017) mūla mūla. [Tel.] n. A corner,విదిక్కు. An angle. కోణము. A retreat. గొంది. A braid, or tress. కొప్పు, కేశబంధము. An airt or point of the compass, దిక్కు. మూల యిల్లు a corner house. మూలవేయు mūla-vēyu. v. a. To lay aside, put by, throw aside, neglect. ఇది యేమూలకు వచ్చును this will not suffice at all, ఎంతమాత్రము చాలదు. మారు మూలను in a bye place. మూలనుండేవాణ్ని యేల ముంగిటికి యీడుస్తావు why draw a man out of his corner into the centre of the court, i.e., why pick a quarrel with a quiet man who is sitting still. మూల or మూలానక్షత్రము [Skt.] n. The nineteenth of the lunar mansions. మూలమట్టము or మూలమట్టపుపలక mla-maṭṭamu. [Tel.] n. A carpenter's square వడ్లవాని ఆయుధము, గోడలమూలలందు సరిచూచు మట్టపలక. మూలమాను mūla-mānu. n. A bracket (fixed in the wall and used as a stand.) కుండలు మొదలైనవాటిని పెట్టడమునకై మూలలో ఇరికించిన మాను. మూలరాయి or మూలరా mūla-rāyi. n. A diamond. 'అందలి మూలరాపనుల యందపు చిత్తరులో.' A stubborn wretch. మూర్ఖుడు. మొండిచేయి, మొండాడు or మొండాటలాడు monḍi-chēyu. v. n. To be unruly; to oppose. ఆ గుర్రము మొండిచేస్తున్నది the horse is stubborn. మొండితనము monḍi-tanamu. n. Stubbornness, obstinacy. మూర్ఖత్వము. మొండిపారిన monḍi-pārina. adj. Callous. కాయకాచిన. మొండిపురుగు monḍi-purugu. n. The 'stumpy' snake, or Amphisbœna, which looks as if the tail was lopped off. మొండు Another form of మొండి. మొండెము or మొండియము monḍemu. n. A stump. The trunk of a body after the head is lopped off. శిరస్సులేని శరీరము, కజంధము. A fragment, a limb lopped off, a separated member, ఖండము. మొండెపుగాము monḍepu-gāmu. n. An epithet of Rāhu. రాహువు.

(p. 1071) rācu rāṭsu. [Tel.] v. n. To be rubbed, ఒరసికొను v. a. To rub. ఒరయు, కర్షించు. To cover (with any substance;) to white-wash, రుద్దు. శరీరమును గంధాదులచేత లేపనము చేయు, ఇల్లు గోడలుమొదలైనవానిని అలుకు. To rub out. To file. రాచుకొను rāṭsu-konu.
