(p. 393) gōmu gōmu. [Tel.] n. Felicity. సౌకుమార్యము, శ్రమమెరుగనితనము. Bloom, freshness of hue. గారబము. గోమించు gōminṭsu. v. t. To make happy, to cause to be happy. గోముచేయు.

(p. 1402) gōmu gōmu. [Tel. for గారాబము.] n. Excessive kindness, over-indulgence. పిల్లవానిని గోముచేన్తున్నాడు he is spoiling the child.

(p. 393) gōmukhamu gō-mukhamu. [Skt.] n. A sort of trumpet. Also smearing with cowdung. The front or spout of the lingam. The spout for water in the wall of a temple. గోముఖవ్యాఘ్రము gō-mukha-vyāghramu. n. A tiger in the disguise of a cow, i.e., a hypocrite. పైకి మంచివాని వలెనుండే దుష్టుడు.

(p. 879) bāri bāri. [Tel.] n. Annoyance, trouble. ఉపద్రవము, తొందర, వ్యధ, హింస, నిర్బంధము. The slope at the side of a great well for bullocks to run down in drawing up water, by a rope running over a pulley. కపిలెయెద్దులకు నిర్బంధముగా నేర్పరిచినదారి. An elephant's tether. ఏనుగుకాలు కట్టెడు గొలుసు. బారివిడుచు to gallop, పరుగెత్తించు. బారిగొర్రె a sheep let go at a feast to be run for, as a victim or prize. 'గోముననిన్నాళ్లుకొడుకనిన్ బ్రోచి, గోమలికినిబారిగొరియగానొసగ, వలసెబోమల్లెపూవంటిరుమాలు, దొంగింపవెండ్రుకల్ తూగిచిందాడ, నించువిల్తునిబారినీగగానేల.' Sār. D. v. 295. why sacrifice yourself to love? మన్మథుని బారిపడినాడు he fell a victim to love. పులిబారికి ప్పినలేడికైవడిన్ like a fawn escaping from a tiger. బారి or భారి bāri. adj. Great, large, big. బారివాండ్లు well to do people, rich folks.

(p. 1324) sāmu sāmu. [Tel. short for సగము.] n. A half. అర్థము. 'సాముసోము నోము గోముమోము.' Ila. iii. 170. టీ సాముసోము, సగము చంద్రుని. [from Skt. శ్రమము.] n. Bodily exercise, వ్యాయామము. Fencing of feats of strength, గారిడి. నేలవిడిచి సాముచేయగూడదు if you lose your footing you will lose your power. సాముచేయు to practise gymnastics or feats of strength. సామరి sām-ari. n. A gymnast or fencer. సాము నేర్చినవాడు. సాముకంటిచుక్క sāmu-kanṭi-ṭsukka. n. The name of a constellation called పుబ్బా or పూర్వఫల్గునీనక్షత్రము. 'ఆ చదువుసాముగలిగి క్షత్రియుల్ సంపూర్ణ, విద్యులనగవీటవినుతికెక్కి, సాధులలనుబరిచ్యుతాధులజేయంగ, జాలకుండుదురెప్రశంససేయ.' కవి. i.
