Puzzling, perplexing, entangled, intricate, confused, difficult, troublesome, baffled. చిక్కుజడలు tangled hair. చిక్కుకంపు a rancid smell (of oil .) చిక్కుతాళము. n. A lock with many wards, and which, like a patent lock, can only be opened by those who know it.

'ఆలుంబిడ్డల కొరకై జాలింబడి ధనముగూర్చి చచ్చినదనుకన్ వేళాకోళము నొందుచు స్త్రీలోలుండైనవాడు చెడిపోపాలై.' Ramastava Raj. ii. 62. వేళాకోళపు vēḷā-kōḷapu. adj. Intricate, puzzling. చిక్కుగానుండే.
