(p. 105) ahaha or అహహా ahaha. [Tel.] interj. Ah! aha! implying surprise, fatigue, pain, pleasure. అద్భుతము, భేదము, సంతోషము -- ఈ అర్థములందు చెప్పేమాట.

(p. 836) prayāsamu or ప్రయాస pra-yāsamu. [Skt.] n. Toil, violent effort, trouble, difficulty, pain. శ్రమము. ఆ మాట వినడమునకే ప్రయాసముగానున్నది it is painful even to hear that word. నేను చెప్పేమాటలు అతను వినడమే ప్రయాస it is hard to get him to listen to what I say. ప్రయాసపడు pra-yāsa-paḍu. v. n. To try hard, to take pains, to incur difficulties, to suffer. శ్రమపడు.

(p. 1322) sādhakamu sādhakamu. [Skt.] adj. Completing, effecting, finishing. సాధించునది. n. Practice, exercise. Vouchers in evidence. Instruments, means, medium; authority for the use of a word. అభ్యాసము, అలవాటు, దస్తావేజు, ఉదాహరణము. కత్తిసాధకము sword exercise. నీవు చెప్పేమాటకు సాధకముకదర్దా have you any means of proving what you say? సాధకబాధకములు the pros and cons of a case. సాధకముచేయు sādhakamu-chēyu. v. a. To practise, exercise or use. అభ్యాసముచేయు. సాధకుడు sādhakuḍu. n. A conqueror, masterer, achiever, సాధించువాడు, నిష్పాదకుడు, సాధనకర్త. A devotee, ఉపాసకుడు. 'అయ్యోగియోగ సాధకుండకానేరడు.' A. iii. 90. 'స్వానుభూతి లేకశాస్త్రవాసనలచే సంశయంబు చెడదు సాధకునకు.' (Vema. 115.) సాధనము sādhanamu. n. A way, means, medium, instrument, agent, contrivance, expedient, tool, implement. Authority, reason. నిష్పాదనము, ఉపకరణము. సామగ్రి, ఉపాయము, హేతువు. సాధనసంపత్తి ways and means. మూలసాధనము the principal means. 'చక్రగదాశంఖ శార్ఙ్గాదిసాధను.' BX. సాధనీయము sādhan-īyamu. adj. That which can be realised or accomplished, practicable. సాధింపదగిన.

(p. 1324) sāmita, sāmite or సామెత sāmita. [from Skt. సమతా.] n. A proverb, a common saying, ఒక సంగతికి దృష్టాంతముగా లోకులు వాడుకగా చెప్పేమాట, లోకోక్తి.

(p. 1378) svāha or స్వాహా svāha. [Skt.] interj. Hail! An exclamation used in making an oblation to the gods. n. The name of the wife of the god of fire, a goddess presiding over burnt offerings, దేవతలకు హవిస్సును అహుతి చేసేటప్పుడు చెప్పేమాట, అగ్ని భార్య. 'స్వాహా కాముడౌట.' Swa. iii. 67.
