To suffice, to be valid. To belong to, to pertain to, to be appropriate, suit, correspond to, తగు, శక్యమగు. To happen, to be accomplished కొనసాగు. To be paid or discharged (with reference to debt.) దీనికి నాకు చెల్లినది I have done with it. చెల్లురా well done! చెల్లే or చెల్లిన p|| Valid, current, fit, proper, applicable, efficacious. చెల్లని uncurrent, inapplicable, inadmissible. చెల్లుబడి chellu-baḍi. n. Authority అధికారము. చెల్లించు chellinṭsu. v. a. To pass (time, life, a rule, &c.), to pay, liquidate, to fulfil. To apply or put to a right use. చెల్లు chellu. n. Payment. చెల్లుపెట్టుకొను to credit in accounts or strike a balance. చెల్లుచీటి a receipt for payment. చెల్లుచూచుకొను to consider a sum as paid.

(p. 792) perugu , పెర్గు, పెరువు or పెర్వు perugu. [Tel.] v. n. To grow, increase, వర్ధిల్లు. ఎదుగు. విజృంభించు. To accumulate. To grow up, as a child. To bristle up, as a porcupine. To attempt, ప్రయత్నించు. గడ్డముపెరిగిన unshaven, wearing a beard. కొండలు నాలుగుపక్కల పెరిగియున్నవి the hills extended around it on all sides. కామక్రోధంబుల పెరుగనిచ్చె he gave the rein to his passions. Curds: thick curdled milk, దధి. పెరుగుడు peru-guḍu. n. Growth, increase, పెరుగుట, వృద్ధి. పెరుగు తోటకూర, పెరుగుకూర or పెరుగాకు perugu-tōṭa-kūra. n. A certain potherb, Amaranthus oleraceus. (Heyne.) పెరుగు సముద్రము perugu-samudramu. n. The sea of curds, one of the mythical occeans. An old person, ఏండ్లుచెల్లినవాడు, ఏండ్లుచెల్లినది. వాని తల పెరుగుబుడ్డివలె నెరసినది his head is as white as a bottle of curds.

(p. 1136) varṣamu varshamu. [Skt.] n. Rain, a shower, వాన. A year, సంవత్సరము. The state of being a eunuch, పేడితనము. వర్షమువెలిసినది the rain has ceased. వర్షాభావము want of rain. వర్షకాలము or వర్షాకాలము varsha-kālamu. n. The rains or rainy season. వానకాలము. వర్షణము varshaṇamu. n. Raining, వానకురియడము. Sprinkling. నీళ్లు చిలకరిమచడము. వర్షధరుడు or వర్షవరుడు varsha-dharuḍu. n. A eunuch. ఖొజ్జావాడు. వర్షాభువు varshā-bhuvu. n. Lit. That which is born in the rainy season, i.e., a frog, కప్ప. A. iv. 113. వర్షాశనము varṣh-āsanamu. n. An aunuity, or yearly maintenance. సంవత్సరమునకొకసారి జీవనార్థముగానిచ్చు సొమ్ము. వర్షించు varshinṭsu. v. n. To rain. వానకురియు. నెత్తురు వర్షింప while it rained blood.
