(p. 122) āru āru. [Tel.] v. n. To teem with, be full of నిండు; to be or have. సొంపారిన beautiful. ఇంపారిన delightful. నిండారుగానున్నది it is full. అలరారు blooming. చెన్నారిన lovely. పొల్పారిన charming (compare the affix ఆరి as నేర్పరి, సొంపరి, &c.) గోజారు to trouble. సొంపారు to bloom, to be pretty. In such phrases as నూరారు వెయ్యారు the word అరు is not the numeral six, but is a form of అరు to be full; so వెయ్యారు means full thousand and నూరారు full a hundred. నూరారుముద్దులు a full hundred kisses. చేతులారంగ శివుని పూజింపడేని if he sacrifice not to Siva with his own hands. చేతులార రూకలు చెల్లిస్తిని I paid the money with my own hands. పని ఆరుమూడు అయినది the work is all in confusion, at sixes and sevens.

(p. 1056) yuktamu yuktamu. [Skt.] adj. Joined, combined, united, కూడుకొనిన. Right, fit, proper, ఉచితమైన, న్యాయమైన. యుక్తమైనమనిషి a proper person. n. Fitness, propriety, justice. ఉచితము. న్యాయము. దాన్ని నీవు చెల్లిస్తే యుక్తము it will be better for you to pay the money. నీవు యుక్తాయుక్తము విచారింపవలసినది you must look on both sides of the question. యుక్తపడు yukta-paḍu. v. n. To fit or suit. అనుకూలపడు. యుక్తి yukti. n. Union, కూడిక. Wit; a contrivance, expedient, stratagem, artifice; a plot, a happy thought. ఉపాయము, యోచన. యుక్తుడు yuktuḍu. An affix meaning. Accompanied by, possessed of, characterised by. కూడుకొన్నవాడు. భార్యాయుక్తుడై being accompanied by his wife. పాపయుక్తులు sinners. దోషయుక్తురాలు she who is sinful, a sinner.

(p. 1141) valla valla. [Tel. another form of వలన.] A postposition used as a case ending in the 5th case of nouns and pronouns. By, by means of, from. వానివల్ల తెలిసినది I learned it from him or of him. ఈ మందువల్ల by means of this medicine. adj. Convenient, feasible, practicable, possible. యుక్తము, అనుకూలము. అది వల్లకాదు it is impossible. అక్కడికి పోవల్లలేదు you cannot go there. ఇరి లేకుంటే నల్లకాదు I cannot do without this. చెల్లిస్తేగాని వల్లకాదు you cannot avoid paying it. వాడు ఉంటేగాని వల్లకాదు I cannot do without him. నీవు వస్తేగాని వల్లకాదు your coming is indispensable, it cannot be done unless you come. చెప్పుకోక వల్లకాదు you cannot avoid explaining this. n. A stratagem, expedient, convenience. ఉపాయము, యుక్తి. వల్లపట్టుతప్పి పడినాడు he lost his hold and fell. ఎడమనల్లవాడు a left handed man, ఎడమచెయి వాటముగలవాడు. వల్లకాని valla-kāni. adj. Impracticable, impossible. అసాధ్యమైన. వల్లమాలిన valla-mālina. adj. Much, excessive; impracticable, అపరిమితమైన. వల్లగానుండు valla-ga-n-unḍu. v. n. To be convenient, practicable, possible, feasible. సాధ్యముగానుండు.
