(p. 454) cau or చౌవు ṭsau. [Tel.] n. The number four, in counting. చౌకాడిగుదియ or చపుకాడిగుదియ ṭsaukāḍigudiya. n. An iron rod with four well-turned sides నాలుగుపక్కలుతీరిన యినుపదండము. చౌగంటి or చవుగంటి the god of fire అగ్నిదేవుడు. చౌకాలిపీట or చవుకాలిపీట a chair; lit a seat with four legs.

(p. 1117) vañca , వంచము or వంచి vanṭsa. [Tel.] n. The ace, at dice, ఒకటి. A piece of land, place. పట్టు, ప్రదేశము. చవుటివంచ a spot of salt land. రేగడవంచ పొలము a bit of black cotton soil. గరువువంచపొలము a stony sandy soil. రాతిమొరము ఇసుకగలనేల. చౌవంచ four at dice. తీవంచ three at dice.
