Terrestrial latitude. అక్షకర్ణము = The hypotenuse, especially of the triangle formed with the gnomon of a dial and its shadow; in astronomy, the argument of the latitude. అక్షాగ్రము, the end of an axle. అక్షాగ్రశీలము, a linch-pin; the pin which fastens the yoke to the pole. రుద్రాక్ష, the seed of Elcocarpus Ganitrus, or of Beleric Myrobalan, which is used as a die. అక్షావపనము, a dice-board అక్షతత్వము science of dice. అక్షవిద్య aksha-vidya. (p. 282) kitavamu kitavamu. [Skt.] n. Mischief, malice. కితవవనిత a wicked jade. కితన వ్యవహారము mischief, a base pursuit, i.e., gambling. కితవార్భకుడు kitav-ārbha-kuḍu. One who pretends to be a mere child. మాయబిడ్డ. కితవుడు kitavuḍu. A gambler, a cheat. జూదరి, మోసకాడు.

(p. 953) mannīḍu, manniyaḍu or మన్నియ mannīḍu. [Tel. మన్ను + ఈడు.] n. A lord, a chieftain, ప్రభువు, మన్నెపుదొర. 'మాళనదేశంబు మన్నీలగొంగ.' Pal. 52. 'ఎన్నడుగుడువకకట్టక. తన్నేమరికూర్చుధనము ధరలో నెపుడున్, మన్నీలకు జూదరులకు, కన్నెలకునుబోవుచుండుగదరా.' Sumati §. 49.

(p. 986) mithunamu mithunamu. [Skt.] n. A couple, a brace, a pair: particularly male and female. ఆలుమగల౛త. The sign Gemini 'తెరువుననొక మిథునము జూదరులంగను గొంటె.' M. XIII. ii. 220. ఒక మిధునముజూదరులు a pair of gamblers మిథునకర్మము sexual intercourse, సంబోగము, రతి. 'మిథునకర్మంలు చేతగాని ప్రజావృద్ధిలేదనుచు.' Vish. ii. 270.
