A large tress, పెం౛డ. పెం౛ుట్టుచెట్టు pen-ḍzaṭṭa-cheṭṭu. n. A jungle shrub. పెం౛ొర pen-ḍzora. (పెను+చొర.) n. A certain large fish. The great shark. 'మున్నీటంబెంజొరదరసిపోవవు చందంబున.' A thousand. సహస్రము. వెయిమంది a thousand persons. పదివేలు ten thousand: (this in many places means many.) వెళ్లుమని పదివేలమాట్లు చెప్పినా వాడు వెళ్లలేదు though I told him to go a thousand times he did not go away. వెయ్యేల or వెయిమాటలేల why a thousand words? why say more? i.e., in a word, after all. వెయ్యి కాళ్లజెర్రి veyyi-kāḷḷa-jerri. n. Lit: a thousand-legged centipede. A restless wanderer. వాడు వెయ్యికాళ్లజెర్రి. వానికి ఎక్కడ తీరును he has a thousand jobs in hand, he has no leisure. పదివేలకైనా or పదివేలకున్ను వాణ్ని నమ్మవచ్చును we may trust him in every thing.
