(p. 409) cindara chindara. [Tel.] n. Ruin, breaking. A fragment, bit, shattered piece. Dilapidation, ugliness, disagreeableness. 'చెవులు చిందరచేసెఝిల్లికానినదంబు' the crickets chirped with earsplitting shrillness. HD. i. 1745. చిందర adj. Ugly, disagreeable, ruinous. చిందరవందర chindara-vandara. adv. (anuk) Piece-meal; here and there; in pieces, in shatters. Anir. iii. 92. చిందరవందరచేయు or చిందర చేయు chindara-vandara-chēyu. v. n. To shatter or shiver. To hack, to cut to pieces, to spoil. చిందరవందరలుగా adv. tossed: at random, in confusion: recklessly, dishevelled, flying loose as hair. చిందరపోవు to spring a leak తూటుపోవు. చిందరగొను to be enraged or furious. విజృంభించు. చిందరరేగు to be infused with ఆవేశమెత్తు.
