(p. 492) ḍabara , డబ్బుర or దబ్బుర ḍabara. [Tel.] n. A brass bowl. బోగోణి, గిన్నె.

(p. 492) ḍabbu ḍabbu. [Tel.] n. A copper coin worth either three or four copper pies చిన్నమెత్తురాగిముద్ర. Cash, money దుడ్డు, Wealth ధనము. A colour or streak. Fiction, falsehood, guile. బొంకు. Display, lavishness. డబ్బుగల rich. పాతడబ్బు a coin worth four pies. కొత్తడబ్బు a copper coin worth three pies, a quarter anna. ఈ చీర అంచు డబ్బుగా (or డాబుగా) నున్నది it has a streaked or rich border. v. a. To make up, feign, fabricate. ఒకడబ్బుడబ్బి making up a story.

(p. 1353) sēru or శేరు sēru. [H.] n. A seer, a measure of weight equal to two pounds: also, a meausure of quantity equal to about a quart. (It varies in various parts of the country.) అరువది నాలుగు లేక ఇరువది డబ్బుల యెత్తు; ఎనిమిదిపలములయెత్తు; ఇరువదినాలుగు తులముల యెత్తు. కచ్చాసేరు the same more definitely. పక్కాసెరు the large seer which contains three సేరులు, that is, twenty four పలములు or ninety-six rupees' weight. సవ్వాసేరు a seer of thirty rupees' weight.

(p. 1361) sōla sōla. [Tel.] n. A certain dry measure, equal to a seer. పదునారు డబ్బులయెత్తు వస్తువుపట్టేకొలది, శాస్త్రకారుడుచెప్పినది తొమ్మన్నూరుగింజలు పట్టేది. సోలవెలితిగా sōla-veliti-gā. adv. Scornfully, contemptuously. కొంచెము తక్కువగా. 'ఏలయీబహురూపులేవైన మున్ను సోలవెలితిగనిన్ను జూచితినయ్య.' BD. iv. 1028. 'ఈ చందమిట్లుతాల్పక యాచందంబున నెయున్న యప్పుడునిన్నున్ జూచితినెపోలవెలితిగ నీ చుక్కల దగిలికొనగనేటికి నాకున్.' BP. vi. 238. సోలెడు sōl-eḍu. adj. A small pailful. అరతవ్వెడు.
