(p. 501) tagiliñcu tagilinṭsu. [Tel. causal of తగులు.] v. a. To apply (paint, a bandage, punishment, a rule, the law, &c.) To fasten (a bolt, &c.) To inflict (pain.) To attach, fix, insert, lock, bolt, hang on, stick into, అగ్నితగిలించు to set fire. నన్ను ఆ పనిలో తగిలించిరి they involved me in that business. వానికి సంకెలలు తగిలించిరి they put fetters upon him. తగిలించుకొను tagilinṭsu-konu. v. a. (middle voice) to put on, apply to oneself, to become involved in, to catch, to contract. రోగమును తగిలించుకొను to catch or contract disease. సంకిళ్లు తగిలించుకొన్నాడు he put on fetters.

(p. 563) tōka tōka. [Tel.] n. A tail. తోకత్రొక్కిన పామువలె like a snake whose tail has been trodden on. తోకగుం౛ a slanting post or pillar అదోకగా నేర్పరచిన స్తంభము. తోకకష్ప tōka-kappa. n. A tadpole. తోకచిచ్చు a trail of fire. నిప్పులు తగిలించిన పిడకలవరుస. తోకచుక్క tōka-ṭsukka. n. A comet: a star with a tail. ధూమకేతువు. తోకతలవరి tōka-talavari. n. A long slender fish called Ophidion (Russell. No. 39.) తోకపీకుళ్లు tōka-pīkuḷḷu. n. Plagues, hobbles, squabbles. తోకపీకుడుగాడు one who is always stirring up strife నలతగొట్టు. తోకపురుగు an insect with a tail. తోకమిరియములు cubebs, చులవమిరియాలు.

(p. 1004) mudda mudda. [Tel.] n. A lump, mass, morsel. కబళము, పిండము, ఉండ. ముద్దకావడము to form or collect in a mass. వారు తడిసి ముద్ద అయినారు they are soaking wet, or are a mass of wet.నెత్తురు ముద్దగానున్నది it is a mass of blood ముద్ద కర్జూరము a species of date. ముద్దపప్పు pease pudding, యూషము. తడి ముద్దగానుండే బట్టలు a wet wisp of clothes. ముద్దకమ్మరలు mudda-kammaralu. n. Smelters, smiths who work at smelting iron. రాయి కరగి యినుము చేసేవారు. ముద్దకవ్వము mudda-kavvamu. n. A sort of churning staff, with a heavy mass at the end. కర్రబిళ్లతగిలించినకవ్వము. ముద్దకూడు mudda-kūḍu. n. A lump of boiled rice. A paste of rice and ashes applied to the eye of a drum forming the black spot in the centre of the head, for the purpose of regulating the tone. చన్నపిండము, పుష్కరలేపనార్థమైన భస్మమృదితాన్నము. ముద్దకొలిమి mudda-kolimi. n. A forge for smelting iron. రాతిలోనున్నయినుము కరిగే కొలిమి. ముద్దీటె mudd-īṭe. n. A stout spear. ముద్దవాయువు mudda-rāyuvu. n. The cramp. కాళ్లుచేతులు ముద్దలుగా కట్టుకొను వాతరోగము.
