(p. 763) pucce punchche [Tel.] n. The skull, తలపుర్రె. The young unripe fruit of the palmyra, cocoanut, &c. తాళనారికేళాదుల బొండ్లము. A cap or loose bit under a screw. The loose caps at the ends of a palm fruit. నీతలపుచ్చె పగలగొట్టుతాను I will break your head.

(p. 862) baṭamarulu baṭamarulu. [Tel.] n. Nostrils. ముక్కుచర్మములు. 'ముఖజనితహుతాళనుతోతత్స ఖుండగు గంధవహుంగూర్పనిక్కెనన నొక్కింత నిక్కి చొక్కంపుబటమరులజూపట్టు తిలకును మవిలసనాపహాసిని యగునాసబాసమానుండగువాని.' A. vi. 138. టీ చొక్కంపుబటమరులు, సుందరమైన ముక్కుచర్మములచేతను.

(p. 942) maṭṭa maṭṭa. [Tel.] n. A bough or stem (of the palm cocoanut, or date tree.) తాళనారికేళాదులకొమ్మ. కలబందమట్ట the stem of the Aloe plant. The tail of an animal. ఆవులలోనగువానితోక. The sucking fish, called the Echeneis, or remora. Several species of this are called కొర్రమట్ట. పయి౛ారుమట్ట, మట్టగుడిసె or మట్టగొరిసె, పూలమట్ట. మాలమట్ట and కడిచమట్ట. See Russell, Plates. 82 and 84. మట్టగిడుసు maṭṭa-giḍusu. n. A sort of fish.

(p. 1341) sunnamu sunnamu. [from Skt. చూర్ణం.] n. Lime made of shells or stone Carbonate of lime. Chunam. కారపుసున్నము unslaked lime. సీమసున్నము white chalk. రాతిసున్నము stonelime. గుల్లసున్నము lime made of small shells. పాలసున్నము fine lime. సున్నముకొట్టు or సున్నముపూయు to white-wash. సున్నపుకాయ a small box in which lime, which is used with betel, is kept. వాడు చచ్చి సున్నమైనాడు he was in dreadful trouble. వాణ్ని సున్నానికి ఎముక లేకుండా కొట్టినారు they broke all his bones. సున్ని sunni. n. Powder. పొడుము. సున్నిపిండి sunni-pinḍi. n. A paste used as soap in bathing. నలుగుపిండి. కందిసున్ని powdered Bengal gram. సున్నితము sunnitamu. adj. Delicate, susceptible. రవంతైనను హెచ్చిగా తగ్గినా తాళని. మీ దేహము నిండా సున్నితము, మోటదేహముకాదు your constitution is easily affected, it is not tough. రోగులశరీరము మహా సున్నితముగానుండును sick persons are easily affected by any thing. n. Delicacy, susceptibility. రవంత హెచ్చినను తగ్గినను తాళలేకపోవడము.
