(p. 136) ināmu or ఈనాము ināmu. [H.] Inam, a present of gift; land granted by the Government rent free for ever or subject to a small quit rent. A present by Government. మాన్యము, బహుమానము. ఇనాముదారుడు a holder of an inam. నెత్తురుకట్టు ఇనాము land granted to such as had shed blood in battle. కదీంయినాము an old bequest. దివిటీయినాము a grant of land to a torchbearer. ఇనాయతుచేయు to grant.

(p. 537) turukku tuṭukku. [Tel.] (anuk.) adv. At once. n. Palpitation of the heart.

(p. 611) dobba dobba. [Tel.] n. A piece of flesh. A clot of blood. ముద్ద. The outer side of the thigh,. A pool or puddle. నెత్తురుకండ. 'తిరుగక విరుగక యాభి కరమేషములాహనంబుగానింపంగా సరిరెంటినడుమ నెత్తురు దొరుగన్ బ్రవహించి నిలిచి దొబ్బలుకట్టెన్.' P. i. 240. టీ దొబ్బలుకట్టెన్ అనగా గడ్డలుకట్టెన్

(p. 676) netturu or నెత్రు netturu. [Tel.] n. Blood, నెత్తురుగడ్డ netturu-gaḍḍa. n. A boil. నెత్తురుకందు netturu-kandu. n. A newborn infant. నెత్తురుత్రాపుడు netturu trāvuḍu. n. An Asura; a demon. రాక్షసుడు. నెత్తురుపొడ netturu-poḍa. n. A red snake, మాతులాహిసర్పము. నెత్తురుబంక or నెత్తురుబేది netturu-banka. n. Dysentery. నెత్తురొత్తుమాన్యము or నెత్తురుకట్టుమాన్యము nettur-ottu-mānyamu. n. A living bestowed on one who (or whose father) shed his blood for the prince. నెత్తురుపారు netturu-pāru. v. n. To become red. ఎర్రనగు. నెత్తురుప్రొద్దు sunset.

(p. 1111) loḍaloḍa or లొడబిడ loḍa-loḍa. [Tel. anuk.] adj. Loose, వదులైన. adv. Confusedly. తారుమారుగా. Quickly, త్వరగా లొడలొడమని నెత్తురుకారినది the blood flowed rapidly. ఆ చొక్కాయచేతిలో చెయిదూరిస్తే లొడలొడమని యున్నది the sleeve is very loose.

(p. 1204) veṇṭa venṭa. [Tel. from వెను.] n. Business, కార్యము. An affair, విషయము. A way, మార్గము. Manner, విధము. Hunting , the chase, వేట. adv. and postposition. With, along with, in company with, behind, following after, వెంబడి. ఏవెంట in what manner or way? ఏరీతిగా. నావెంటవచ్చినాడు he came along with me. వీధ్వెంటసరుగెత్తినా he ran along the street. ప్రవాహమువెంట కొట్టుకొనివచ్చిన మానులు the trees that came down the river. వానినోటి వెంట వచ్చినమాటలు the words that slipped out of his mouth. వానిముక్కువెంట నెత్తురుకారుచున్నది he is bleeding at the nose. 'కాలువ వెంటబూచు మల్లికలవనంబనంగ.' Swa. ii. 24. వెంటనంటు or వెంటబడు venṭa-n-anṭu. v. a. To follow, pursue. వెంబడించు. వెంటనే venṭan-ē. adv. and postposition. Immediately, at once, వెంబడిగానే. వారు వచ్చినవెంటనే as soon as they arrived. వెంటబెట్టుకొను venṭa-beṭṭu-konu. v. n. To take along with.
