(p. 821) pōlu pōlu. [Tel.] v. n. To be fit or agreeable. ఒప్పు, తగియుండు. To be proper, యుక్తమగు. To be possible, శక్యమగు. This word is added to infinitives. చేయబోలునె can it be done? The neg. is పోలదు; thus, అట్లా చేయపోలదు or తగదు it is not proper to do so. ఉండబోలును perhaps they are there, ఉన్నవేమో. 'తెగువయదేవేంద్రపదవియనదగు బుద్ధిజనింపబోలుతరుణీనీకున్.' H. i. 140. v. a. A disease, sickness, ailment. వ్యాధి, తెగులు. తాళపుచెవికేమో రోగమువచ్చినది the key has got something the matter with it. నీకేమిరోగము వచ్చినది what was the matter with you that you did this? పెద్దరోగము leprosy, in which the limbs drop off. భవరోగములు the ills of the flesh, the ills or sorrows that flesh is heir to. రోగకారి rōga-kāri. adj. Insalubrious, unhealthy. వ్యాధిని కలుగజేసే. రోగహారి rōga-hāri. n. Lit. 'The disease destroyer.' The ash gourd. బూడిదగుమ్మడి. రోగి rōgi. n. A patient, a sick person, a sufferer, వ్యాధిగ్రస్తుడు. భవరోగి one who is subject to the ills of the flesh, one who is not yet released from earthly ties.

Desperate or wild daring, a wild or desperate deed. చొరవ, తెగువ, తెగింపు. సాహసమువహించు to venture, to dare. సాహసకృత్యము sāhasa-kṛitya-mu. n. (p. 1337) suṅku sunku. [Tel.] n. A corn blossom: the yellow flower that comes on each grain in an ear or head of corn, కంకిలోని గింజ పాలుపట్టక ముందు ప్రతిగింజమీద పచ్చగానుండేపువ్వు. Grain ceremoniously thrown over a married couple. ఒక పళ్లెములో బియ్యమువేసి పైనపళ్లెముమూసి వధూవరుల మీద పాటలుపాడుచు చల్లే బియ్యము. 'మనయిళామాధవులకు శోభనమటంచు చల్లగాపాడి సుంకులుచల్లిరపుడు.' Ila. i. 114.
