(p. 564) tōcu tōṭsu. [Tel.] v. n. To arise. పుట్టు. To occur to the mind, to seem, appear. To appear, as the sun; to become visible, ప్రత్యక్షమగు నాకు. తోచుచున్నది I think, conjecture, conceive, fancy, imagine, suppose, intend. నీకు అట్లు తోచెనా if you think fit, if you please, if it seems good to you. నాకు ఏమి తోచలేదు I knew not what to think. నాకు అనుమానము తోచినది I suspected. నాకు అర్థము తోచలేదు I do not perceive the meaning. అద్దములో తోచు ముడుపువలె like purse reflected in a glass. వానికి భయము తోచినది he was afraid.

(p. 828) pratiphaliñcu prati-phalinṭsu. [Skt.] v. n. To reflect or give the image of. ప్రతిబింబమగుపడు. ప్రతిఫలనము pratiphalanamu. n. A reflection of an image. నీడ అగుపడడము, మారురూపముతోచుట.

(p. 871) balupu or బళువు baluvu. [from Skt. బలము.] n. Weight, a load or burden; బరువు. Strength, బలము. A charge, or obligatory duty; onus; oppression; anguish; acuteness (as of a boil), heaviness, severity of sickness. Importance, consequence. భారము. మీ చిత్తమునకు బలువు తోచును you would be displeased. బళువుసుళువు ఎరుగనివాడు one who knows no care. దానిని నెరవేర్చే బళువు తమది it is your business to settle this. బలబళవు ఇంకా తీయలేదు the heaviness or stupor is not yet gone off. నెత్తి బళువు తీరినది there is a weight off my mind. ఆ కురుపు నానాటికి బళువుచేస్తున్నది the boil becomes more painful day by day. adj. Heavy, onerous; obligatory; difficult, acute, severe (as illness), irksome, indisposed. అధికము, మిక్కుటము. Large, పెద్ద. See బలు. వాడు బలువైన పనిచేయలేడు he cannot do any heavy work. బలువుగా or బళువుగా baluvu-gā. adv. Heavily. అతనికి ఒళ్లు బలువుగానున్ణది he is very ill. ఆ ఊరు బలువుగా కోసెడు ఉన్నది the village is fully two milles off. బలువుడు baluvuḍu. adj. Strong. బలముగల. n. A strong man, బలవంతుడు, బలియుడు.

(p. 1370) sphuraṇamu sphuraṇamu. [Skt.] n. Quivering, vibrating, tremulous motion, gleaming, sparkling, glittering, shining, blooming, expanding. కదలడము, అదరడము, వణకడము, తళతళమనడము, మెరయడము, ప్రకాశించడము, విజృంభణము. An idea occurring to the mind. తోచుట. 'భీమాయుధస్పుర్తిరాజమండలగ్రాహకమాగధతమస్ఫురణంబడంచి.' N. ix. 532. స్ఫురత్ sphurat. adj. Gleaming, glancing, flashing, sparkling, shining. ప్రకాశించే, తళతళమని మెరిసే.' హారస్ఫురద్గురు ముక్తావళి.' A. ii. 11. స్ఫురించు sphurinṭsu. v. n. To quiver, tremble, shake, gleam, glitter. To occur or come into the mind. చలించు, కదలు. ప్రకాశించు. తోచు, జ్ఞాపకమునకు వచ్చు. అది నాకు స్ఫురించకుండా ఉన్నది, లేక, అది నా మతికి స్ఫురించదు it does not occur to me. స్ఫురితము shuritamu. adj. Shaken, trembling. Exposed, outstretched. Shinning, gleaming. కదిలే, చలించే, వ్యాపించిన, మెరిసే, తళతళమనే. Occuring to the mind. తోచిన. 'శ్రుతికుండల స్ఫురితముక్తాభిముఖ్య.' N. vii. 249. స్ఫురితుడు sphurituḍu. n. One who is distinguished. ప్రకాశమానుడు. 'సరసస్రోత్సాహ స్ఫురితుడవు.' P. ii. 165.

(p. 1370) sphūrti sphūrti. [Skt.] n. Excitation, palpitation, vibration, tremulousness. Manifestation. Excess, fulness; expanding, prevalence. Gleaming, sparkling, shining, ప్రవృత్తి, కంపము, ప్రకాశము, ఉదయము, విజృంభణము, అతిశయము, పరిపూర్ణత. Thinking, తోచుట. 'పురితేరుల్ మహనీయ జంగమ నగస్ఫూర్తింగడున్ రాజిలున్.' P. i. 70. 'భూషామణిస్ఫూర్తి బ్రోదజేయ.' ib. iv. 368. 'కనకగిరిస్ఫూర్తి గరచె గౌతమిగ్రాచె.' A. i. 43. విగ్రహస్ఫూర్తి గానుండువాడు a stout man. సమయస్ఫూర్తిమాట a sudden thought, a repartee on the spur of the moment. అతనికి సమయస్ఫూర్తి కలదు he has a ready wit.
